Greek Stop

First timer, was hesitant based on reviews. Ordered vegetarian options. Food was good, no complaints. What really impressed me was we came 10 minutes earlier than the time we said we would be there, and the food was genuinely not ready since they wanted to prepare it just in time so it was fresh.

I recently catered our dinner menu from Greek Stop Courtneypark Dr. for 12 people. Our family was very pleased with the quantity and quality of the order. Due to some food restrictions, I requested to have a few separate packages which was thoroughly followed. I placed my order with Neha the day before and she assured me that it will be packed and ready by her for the pickup time the next evening. All containers were properly labeled with a smile. Neha was kind, friendly and reliable, which made a positive experience!

This place is seriously disgusting. Against my better judgement I ate here, I came in paid and then began looking around. It's ABSOLUTLY FILTHY. Make no mistake the dirt there is a complete lack of care from the owners, management, staff it's all just unbelievable that during a pandemic this is allowed to go on. I am shocked that peel health hasn't been in here to shut the place down. The lettuce ran out they had water soaked remnants, the chicken and all meats soaking. Anyone's guess how old anything is. Will NEVER return. The pics don't lie.

We were recommended to try the Chicken Souvlaki Meal. I must say it was really good and fresh! The owner ensured the place was clean and friendly staff.Food: 5/5

I’ve eaten here multiple times over the 2 years I’ve been in the city. It’s always yummy and fresh. They always wear gloves and the food area is clean. It’s a mom and Pop kind of place so I don’t expect immaculate condition, but never been a concern for me.

I visited Greek Stop on November 21, 2022 hoping to get a nice nutritious lunch. When I walked in, I was a little surprised at how dirty the hall was leading in from the back entrance. When we got to the food counter I ordered our food without really thinking twice. I then went to the washroom and realized JUST HOW DISGUSTING AND DIRTY this place was! There was NO soap in the soap dispenser and no sanitizer in the bottle. Also the bathroom had black mold everywhere! It was absolutely horrific!!! I thought to myself, if the owner is this negligent with the cleanliness of the premises, what are his food handling skills like? I then went to inspect the stove and food prep area and it was DISGUSTING! Black baked on grease everywhere! I then told the girl at the counter that based on the cleanliness of this restaurant to please cancel my order! I did not want to take a chance eating their food in case we got sick! WARNING TO ALL MOVIE GOERS: Make this restaurant your LAST CHOICE! There is no excuse for a restaurant to be this dirty especially during a pandemic!!!!! Why has Public Health not issued a warning? UPDATE: Public Health went to inspect this place Nov 2022 and there were many actions put in place to bring this restaurant up to the proper standards. Once again, it had to take a visit from Public Health to warn these guys that FILTH is NOT OK!!!!

Food is very bland and they only give you one skewer of meat per meal. The portions are large enough for me to look past the flavour. I would have easily given this a 3 star meal but for me cleanliness changes everything. Like others have said, the place feels very dirty and I couldn’t get past the fact that the person serving does not wear gloves nor did he wash his hands. They use the tiniest spoons to serve each meal and so many times I saw his fingers touch my food. Will not be going back.

This place has some of the best Greek food I ever tasted. Romy gave such great service and was such a pleasure to talk and deal with. This will be my new Greek spot moving forward

Clean place and Roomie was friendly. He made cleanliness a priority. He washed his hands before preparing food and he even changed gloves after handling cash register. He didn't cheap-out on food - filled our plates to the top, which was generous of him.
