It’s ok. Ordered the gyro meat platter with rice and potatoes. Came with a Greek salad and pita bread. Things that were good was the decor. Service was on par and accommodating. Things that were not so good was the main plate with rice, potatoes, gyro meat took quite long. Especially since everything was precooked mostly on their hot table. The herbs, seasonings and spices were very lacklustre, no oregano, thyme, dill which are a must for Greek cuisine. Very bland for a staple dish. The hot sauce was Grace pepper sauce. And it was all for $22 including tax. $15 with tax would’ve made more sense. Don’t think I’ll be back at this restaurant when Los Chicos bbq restaurant is right here in the same plaza. I’d give this place a 2.5 stars to be accurate.
Pretty average greek food, not bad by any means but won’t blow you away. You won’t be disappointed eating here, but there are other better options in Vaughan. Their Tzatziki isn’t great, and chicken is a little dry at times.
Decided to try this place using UberEats on Dec 30, 2022. Order lamb dinner, rib dinner and mango cheese cake for $71. Got a called from the restaurant a couple minutes later saying they didn't have the ribs or the cheesecake that I order and paid for. I said I didn't want to change my order, and since they didn't have the food I requested, I asked the restaurant to cancel the order through the UberEats portal. The woman on the phone said they couldn't cancel it and that I needed to call UberEats. I thought this seems very odd that I would have to call to cancel when they didn't have the food I order. I never had this happen before so I thought I should be able to cancel in the app. Well apparently if the restaurant confirms the order, uberEats thinks that they can provide the food and already started to prepare the order therefore I was charged the full amount for all 3 items ordered eventhough the restaurant called me and said they didn't have the food. I was able to get a refund as an extenuating situation since the woman on the phone at the restaurant clearly lied to me. Uber support confirmed that restaurants can cancelled the order. I also learned that restaurant get penalized for being unable to complete the order. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant if your using uberEats.
Me and my fiancé order out a lot and this is by far the best place in Vaughan … food is soo good with so much flavour and not too greasy … tastes like a home cooked meal
This is by far the best greek food in Vaughan that my family and I have had the pleasure of eating. The portions of food served are good and the gyro and souvlaki are moist and great. It sure beats Mr.Greek's. Speaking of which, the owner and main chef of this place used to own 2 Mr. Greek's. They have gone downhill since he left and opened this place.
First time having Danny Greek Grill Express. Ordered via Uber, it was between them or Mr. Greek. Mr. Greek was charging much higher delivery fee and so I said why not give Danny a try. Glad I did. Placed order around 720-730pm received meal by 8pm. Arrived nice and hot. Got a traditional gyro with rice and potatoes and a garden salad. Fresh! The gyros didn't stink which is so important, the rice on its own is ok but when combined with the delicious tzatziki and the sauce/oil from the potatoes it tastes really good. Great portions see pic. Me personally, I like a little extra salt so I added that and a little black pepper for the potatoes. Also got 2 sticks of chicken souvlaki individual orders, so 1 order comes with 1 skewer with 3-4 pieces, I might be misremembering since it's been a while but I always thought souvlaki chicken came with sauce on it, this appears to have been cooked with a sauce but it still tasted good. Came with tzatziki on the side which was nice drizzled a little on top and ate with the salad. Tasted great. Also very fresh! All in all for first time eating here especially via Uber I am impressed and happy to finally have an alternative to Mr. Greeks in the area. Definitely returning!
Best gyro I’ve had. It was packed with meat and veggies. So much meat that I had enough to take some out and make another gyro with the extra pita they gave . Fresh fried calamari too . Amazing 10/10
After a long craving for Baklava I finally ordered some. But taste like cinnamon and has no pistachios involved : sadFood: 2/5
I love greek grill! They have the best food ever and such nice staff! I 100% recommend this place!
I have no much comments but the food is one of the best, really tasty. Place little cold in winter to dine in but very clean. Ill be back.
