Greater Victoria Public Library - Esquimalt Branch

The new Esquimalt branch is an awesome improvement to our old branch!nNow located in Esquimalt Town Square on the ground floor, this new building and facility meets all our communities needs!nPrivate study areas, lots of space and light, great reading areas and work areas. The new bathrooms are a step up and gender neutral. Each bathroom is single occupancy for complete privacy.nThe staff are very helpful and it is a very peaceful place to look for media or just complete a study project online.nLots of great services check out their web page for more.

Staff is kind, display books are appealing, great variety. Covid guidelines haven't changed the loving atmosphere of this library.nEdit. Added new pictures after the renovation!nMy kids love it here, it is so aesthetically pleasing and calm to just spend time here! We love it in here even more!

The new location was well worth the wait! They did a beautiful job with the look, feel and layout of this space - very open, bright and the strong usage of wood really warms the space. Some great breakouts as well!

Absolutely wonderful space. Welcoming staff. Bright, clean, and new. Most importantly, as a parent of a young child, it has the best play area. It’s safe, my almost one year old has such a wonderful time and the toys and books are always great.

Since moving into the new location, there's now an art gallery as well as Esquimalt Roasting Company coffee shop all in one building so it's a great place to grab a cup of coffee and read a book or even check out the art gallery too. But definitely recommend going there for sure.
