Great Clips Hair Salon, Ajax

I took my grandson here on Sunday. We didn't have to wait very long and the hair stylist Jesse was great. My husband got his cut as well and was really pleased. I will definitely keep going here. It's clean and the staff are friendly as well and the price was good too. Give it a try you'll be glad you did.

I understand human error or even bad days being the fault of shoddy haircuts but...... I LOVE this place. I have been going to this specific location of great clips and getting great hair cuts all the time. I always get asked "where do you get your hair cuts? I want to go where you are going to get your haircuts." I consider this my secret, not so secret, place to get consistent service and where I work looking sharp is mandatory. This place does it for me and it's local. Couldn't be happier with my experiences thus far.

Took my son to the Ajax Great Clips. The lady who cut his hair did a terrible job, it seems like she was learning. My son asked for a 3 on sides and scissors on top to have it longer, he is 15 years old.... but this girl did a 3 on all and totally ruined his hair. Left him with an “army" style that now shows some side holes. 😔 I will never come back. Employees shouldn't "practice" on customers. So disappointed. Store manager didn't charge us for the cut and apologized for what happened.

Best place for an amazing cut for any age. Took my 6 months old baby and they are super talented, helpful and friendly ladies..definitely going back. And recommend..always love my and my son's cut aswel!

I didn't really have a good experience. The lady that was cutting my hair looked as if she didn't want to be there and it just made me feel uncomfortable. She cut my hair lazily as if she just didn't care and wanted to get it over with. I don't know if she was just having a bad day so I tipped her 50% of what my haircut costed and constantly thanked her but even then she still had a "I don't want to be here right now" look. Its been a year since I've gotten my hair cut done at this location and I remember the staff being so friendly. I most likely won't be coming back to this location. I was going to rate this one star but there was another lady who took the time to greet me kindly even though she was with another client. Update: I don't think I'll ever come back here. I've had 3 different people cut my hair and each time they're always rushing to get it done. I have curly hair so you would think they would at least take their time to cut just an inch off to make sure everything is even but that isn't the case. Everytime I get home and wash my hair I would always check to make sure the length of my hair is even and consistent throughout my whole head but always everytime they cut the hair on top of my head way shorter than the sides. Everytime. My hair is in an undercut style as well so there's pretty much a guideline for where to stop the top part of the fade and everytime, because they're always rushing, I'll see clumps of long hair get cut off. I'm also the person that will tip regardless of how the result of the cut is. I don't think I'll ever come back. Not even a free haircut will get me to come back. If only they just take their time.
