We have been here a number of times in the past year and a bit. The staff, each and every one, is very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of Gather - from the beer to the food to the glass blowing.nnToday we went for a snack and beer on a cool, damp day. The food menu was limited to 3 sandwiches and 3 soups. They are winding down for the holiday shutdown. Soup and a sandwich is one of my favourite lunch meals, especially in the winter.nnI opted for the Thai chicken sandwich with a creamy tomato soup. It was fantastic! The sandwich had a perfectly subtle heat to it and the soup complimented the sandwich just right.nnThe beer options at Gather rarely disappoint, and today was no exception. I opted for a flight consisting of Feral Children west coast IPA, Glass Blowers Assistant hazy IPA, Moon Gathering IPA collab with Third Moon Brewing and Oatmeal Stout. All were grand choices. The Canadian Ale, Rusty Rambler and Dam Good Lager are also amazing beer choices!

Came for the beer, stayed for everything else. The beer is phenomenal, the staff are genuinely wonderful people. The beer gave us a sample of their upcoming pale ale from the tank which I'm a bit sad we won't be around for.nnEverything about this place is at least 5 stars. The only thing better than the beer is the glassware, it's so good!nnCouldn't possibly recommend this place any more. We'll definitely be back!

My friend and I had a great experience. The food was great, wide selection of beer and the glass blowing workshop was really fun. The only thing is that the website to book the class can be a bit glitching but worth the experience.

Gather Brewing in Merrickville is a fantastic spot and absolutely worth a visit. They offer a really impressive variety of beer, with something to suit every taste—from easy-drinking classics to more unique and creative brews. Everything we tried was fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor, which made it hard to pick a favorite!nThe service was equally excellent. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about the beers, happy to answer questions and make recommendations. It really added to the experience to feel like they cared about what they were serving and the people enjoying it.nOn top of that, the value here is hard to beat. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality, and the portions were generous. The space itself has a relaxed, comfortable vibe that makes it a great place to spend an afternoon with friends or just stop in for a quick pint.nAll around, Gather Brewing delivers on every front: great beer, great service, and great value. We’ll definitely be back!

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS! I just completed the Glass Pumpkin Workshop with 3 friends and it was so much fun! Toby is a great instructor, so patient and friendly. With his hands-on guidance, we all created a beautiful pumpkin, and learned a lot about the process. Great idea and value for the $100 each. I hope you do more workshops, like Easter Eggs? I want to return, and my husband is now intrigued and also wants to try it. Great group activity, but not more than 4 at a time. Had a delicious craft beer afterwards, which topped off a great afternoon. Would have loved to have appies, but the kitchen closes at 3 pm on Sundays.
