Update: the store will be closed from the 16th of February to March 8th of 2018. after that the store will be back up and running. If your into Model railroading or trains its a great place, Just plan your visit carefully because they are aren't open 7 days a week. Other then that its great! If your in the area I recommend you visit.

First trip to Merrickville today to visit Lark Spur Line Ltd. train store. I met the owner Jeff Trew what a descent gentleman to talk to. Super nice guy very knowledgeable and helpful. They had a sale for the holidays %25 off the entire store even sale items. Purchased some structures today for some dioramas. If you do not see what you are looking for just ask and they will bring it in for you. I Will definitely be going back again soon for another visit.

The owner, Jeff True, is a genuine gentleman and a generous and helpful businessman. Visiting his store is a wonderful experience that takes one back to the carefree moments of youth and model trains. The store has loads of modern HO-scale trains, structures , scenery materials and electronics. Have a question, don't hesitate to ask. Need a special order, Jeff will get it for you ASAP. Note to visitors to the store: closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Check the web site for store hours or call ahead. Sometimes the store is closed unexpectedly. A trip to Lark Spur Line and the other exciting Merrickville shops is sure to please everyone in the family.
