This gem of a ice Creamery is part of the main restaurant called by the same name. Roots. And both the creative food offerings and the completely fabulous Ice cream's are a Force to be reckoned with. The staff are Soo Cool and comfortable with the whole concept of healthy but flavorful ingredients that I cannot help but recommend BOTH AT THE SAME Time
Ice cream was delicious...Banana Graham and dairy-free Banana...yummy so good! The food was fantastic too, chicken gyro, fries, and mac...The staff members were very helpful and hardworking. The owner even came out to greet customers. Great place to grab a quick bite and get some really good ice cream...Blessings!!!
Had lunch at Deep Roots and then got ice cream here. The strawberry Oreo was yum! Husband had lavender honey and cardamom which he loved. Will def be back to try other flavors! Highly recommend!
Love the unique flavors! They also have some delicious classic flavors. The staff is helpful and friendly, The atmosphere is great too. If you haven't tried it you're missing out!
The ice cream here is delicious. I've had alot of ice cream in my life but this place takes the cake for the best so far. I like that they hire younger adults and teenagers who are so polite and provides great customer service. This place is awesome!
Update: hate to do this, but downgrading to 1 star. We returned in the hopes that it would be back to its prior quality after giving feedback months ago - and because we were rooting for Grassroots. Once again ignored requests on the receipt to take off 1 thing, chicken was rubbery, but the most notable insult was meat completely missing from a sandwich it was ordered as is on the menu, no modifications. We ordered in person and gave a tip before we even got the food. No excuse for ripping off people like this and we have given up trying anymore. Old review: First off, they have great, unique food options. We have been coming here for high quality food and ice cream for years. However, there is an unfortunate trend in declining quality control especially if you order takeout. Today, half the food containers were put in the bag sideways so there was leaking, and tacos lost filling. Despite marking a food allergy on an item in the order, they have continuously ignored the requests to remove items. Food allergies should be taken seriously!! We love the food but it's upsetting when the only thing we are beginning to rely on is lack of attention to quality.
An amazing assortment of the best home made ice cream with flavors you won't find anywhere else! This is such a great find and we will be back. The flavors are changed daily so there is always something new to try. Fair price and friendly courteous staff. A great place to stop at anytime.
Grass Roots is the real deal. Delicious hand made ice cream selections bursting with flavor and goodies! It is very rich and very creamy. Every flavor I've ever tried here has been awesome and loaded with the treats. They aren't stingy with cookie, fudge, peanut butter or other candy pieces that go into the ice cream. This place is worth the trip!
The honey lavender ice cream is the greatest flavor on earth. They have really great and unique flavors. Awesome place!
So I love ice cream and I love small businesses. I was really excited to try this place but left confused and flustered. I thought the ice cream would come out ready to travel since you can't stay there and eat because the parking lot is tiny and no customers are allowed inside. They forgot my cone and the girl seemed to be in a big hurry so I didn't make a fuss and left with ice cream dripping into my cupholders. Both flavors were.... average. Almost $6 each? Yikes. I wish this place the best, especially in hard times like this but unfortunately I won't be coming back.
