Grandmama's Waffles

We smelt this place before we even got there - it smells amazing so we knew it would be good. When we got there, staff were incredibly friendly, patient and kind! They even gave us extra whipped cream We got the waffle deal where you could get four waffles any kind and two drinks for $25. We got two of the classic, one pandan and one black sesame with two peach iced teas. Service was fast and the waffles were warm, fluffy and chewy. The portion sizes are also quite generous. I’m very happy with my visit and I will happily be making a return this summer! There is limited seating capacity indoors, and a small patio outside, so keep that in mind if you choose to dine in.

My 11yo son had been raving about the place for a few weeks. He finally got me out for a quick weekend brunch. Totally lived up to the hype. I had a classic with all the fixin's, stuffed with bacon Portion sizes are perfect, without you feeling that you over ate. The waffles are served so you can walk and eat comfortably. Waffles in the park are going to be my summer jam.

Amazing waffles - perfect sweetness and texture. Homemade vegan soft-serve was Light & tasty. Also LOVED the peach tea! Look forward to coming back one day and trying other flavours.

Waffles are amazing! Not only it is krispy but it is also very soft. The flavours were immaculate, it is not very strong and just right. I love the pandan waffle, as it reminds me of my home country. This is a must!!! Will for sure recommend this to friends and family. The owner is so lovely, he was willing to close late for us to eat and enjoy the waffles. Love it for sure!!!

Visited for the first time last night with my girl friends, amazing. The worker was very kind and from witnessing his interactions with customers after us, you can tell how genuine and amazing his customer service is! The waffles are delicious, a good price, and creative. Truly a hidden gem that everyone should dine in at least once. Will come again!

“Very good” - my partner. “I like the waffle artist” - my friend who lives with said waffle artist. Seriously? Very fun and interesting waffle flavours, good price for a snack-sized waffle - which is great because then you can have like 6 of them and not feel grossly full.

First time here and was not disappointed. Waffle was soft and the espresso ice cream was very good.

Chilled quiet and fresh, Grandma’s Waffles is tucked in the by lanes near Christie ttc station. They serve lots of vegan options too. Loved this quaint little waffle heaven.

Absolutely un-freakin-real. I've never been a fan of sweet stuff for breakfast, but these waffles are THE perfect amount of sweet. The owner was kind, made excellent recommendations, and made sure there was no cross contamination between gluten free items. We got PB & Bacon, and the Pandan vegan/gf!
