Parents stay away. Do not use the pool! It has dangerously high levels of chemicals. Attached are pictures of my daughter before and after using the pool. It bleached out her bathing suit. Our whole family came home with a rash. Our daughter was the worst. So bad we consulted a doctor and she was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis. The pool just underwent maintenance but it is extremely unsafe for use at this time.nnBeside the pool conditions we were staying in the 2nd or Annex building. It is old and needs to be renovated and the building is not up to code. Stairwell doors were so warped the did not close properly which is a fire hazard. The entrance keypad is broken and the buttons stick. It took 3 or 4 attempts to open the door. Also the front door is warped and does not close properly, which is a security concern. Carpets are bunch long up in areas causing tripping hazards. The main building is having some renovations done to it. Which is fine if you like the smell of paint and sawdust I guess.nnI would stay as far away from this hotel until it goes through major renovations. We paid $250 a night for what should’ve been a $60 a night motel experience. I have sent an email regarding these concerns to management. It has not been a full day, but I will update my review with their response to all of the concerns I brought to their attention.
Location of hotel is excellent with access to restaurants, pubs, grocery and cafe within walking distance.nParts of the hotel is under renovation and other parts have deferred maintenance.nThe room was huge compared to other hotels and very comfortable.nIt’s was a nice place to stay. Customer service was excellent, booking and check in was super easy and efficient.
I would stay here again, price was decent, underground parking was good tight with large SUV but doable the locations was great! Had coffee machine and amenities in the kitchen and the kitchen was clean. It was lovely to open the balcony to the fresh mountain air. The bed was decently comfortable and I loved the fireplace in the living room.nCons: the room could’ve been a little cleaner there was some dust and furniture felt like armour all greasy. The couch was very uncomfortable and we wanted to spend some time lounging.nOverall it was good and I would stay again.
Stayed here after attending a conference to extend into the weekend. Front desk was lovely. I drove straight to the front door and said I had reservations and didn’t know where to park my car. She gave me a paper map of the property and directions to underground parking with a key code. Once in the underground lot, it’s quite dark and hard to see where to park as there are designated spots with signage. There’s a bunch of hotels that share this underground lot. Anyhow, we got our luggage only to see a sign that the elevator was out. Thank goodness our suite was on the 1st floor! We hoisted it up and got to our condo. The place is a bit old but spotless and there’s 2 bedrooms, a large furnished kitchen and living room with a patio door, wow! The beds were so comfortable! Nothing beats a great sleep in quality sheets! When we woke, we had coffee on the deck in the chilly air and didn’t get a chance to use the pool or amenities. We did enjoy our stay and would like to return in late summer or early fall.
The hotel was honestly rundown, dirty and disappointing. A dump you could say. After checking in we took the maze to get to our room where the room keys didn’t work. We then took the long maze back using certain elevators because some wouldn’t access the main floor. After walking back down again we asked to leave the hotel. It took about 2 hours to get out of the hotel. We sat at a table waiting for the hotel to figure out what they were going to do with us. They had to send someone to do an inspection, they had to send someone to see our complaints. We ended up booking a hotel 3 minutes down the road.nnWe booked directly through their website and it does not look ANYTHING like it does online. It was absolute trash and ruined our whole Friday night away. There were other people also complaining about similar issues while we were.nnNEVER again. If you are going to rent this out at least have some $59 motel special. Not $580 for this crap hole. Thanks for wasting a entire day of our weekend away.
