One of my favourite hikes along the Seaton Trail. Quieter than other sections and some beautiful views.
Great forestry trails, no stroller friendly. The big size parking lot is a bonus. There are not public washrooms here. Perfect place for walking and mountain cycling through the forest. The dogs park is spacious here. I love the river views specially.
Secluded trail for hiking on a hot summer day. Very cool and shady with multiple species of trees. Also good for dog walks. Park is midway and appeared well kept with litter bags to dispose of your dog's litter. There is also a river at the base of the trail. Lovely place to hang out if you're a nature person.
Great Dog park, friendly and open to the public
Hiked the southern 1/3 of the Seaton Trail from Concession 3 to Forestream Trail and back. Very scenic especially along the banks of the West Duffins Creek. The trail itself has been neglected in many places as there are many established unofficial trails in competition with the marked trail.
There are two fenced dog parks there where dogs can be unleashed. But some people unleashed their dogs while walking down the hiking. And two dogs tried to attack us, which was scary and disgusting the owner neither bothered to apologise, nor put the dog on leash. We felt uncomfortable and left the place.
Decent trail, well, marked and easy hiking.Playground: NoPublic restrooms: NoOff-leash dog area: YesPicnic tables: NoBarbecue grills: No
Good hiking trail. Nice views to the duffins creek. Dog friendly park.
2 leash free enclosed dog parks, one at top near parking lot, one larger one down the long hill. City maintained no pick up in winter months, very poopy, please pick up waste.
Beautiful views from forest, hiking and biking trails are straightforward it would be hard to get lost if you stay on the path and if you do there is always someone coming by every 10 mins or so but it’s not crowded. The paths are not maintained but they are used so frequently they are clear. There is a dog park near the parking lot that is huge. Parking lot is not that big and it fills quickly if your not there by 9am on a weekday!
