Beachfront Park is one of my favorite spots, right after Scarborough Bluffs, Sauble Beach, and Sandbanks Beach. The beach itself is rocky but very clean and quiet, making it perfect for families and friends who appreciate a tidy environment. The parking is convenient for daytime visits, and there are ice cream shops nearby. The drive to the beach feels like you’re passing through a charming European village. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful summer day.
The beach is good, very Rocky. It's quiet in the mornings. Actually it's quite beautiful, there's even a foot wash station. Please avoid the washroom worst I've seen in my life. The mirror is a reflective metal sheet.
Beachfront Park has different variations of sand/pebble Beach, trails, Millennium Square which leads to both of the Frenchman light-houses. There are picnic areas, it is dog friendly and there are trails that lead to the Ancient Spirit Garden. I did a lot of my own personal healing coming here and the water on the shore is something spectacular.
This is best place to enjoy your time with your loved ones. We used to go and enjoy the sunset. Ample car parking, couple of benches, washrooms and snacking places are available. Its so clean and relaxing place. Weekends will be busy during summer as alot of families come enjoy barbecue and kids. Happy Place !!
Very nice! Too bad city of Pickering charges for packing here. The water is usually nice and you’ll see people swimming. No life guards on duty. Little splash pad on site. Seasonal bathrooms available. Nice walk to the pier. Don’t forget to visit the grumpy lady with tats in her ice cream shop!! Cause she’s probably missing my business!! lol
