This is regarding safety concerns of snow not shovelled at pick up and drop of points.nnI know you guys have a 24-48 hour policy that they will be shovelled up to after it snows, but many are not. Route 26 for example, most days i’m waiting on the dangerous snowy street to wait for the bus, because there is no way i’m standing in two feet of snow.nnBlock line station is my main cause for complaint. You have old women trying to find foot holes in 3 feet of snow because you not only adhere to policy, you break it. There is a bus sign by the shelter there that was blown over weeks ago, yet still remains laying there as a safety hazard.nnNot sure if it’s or tax dollars or fairs we use for your serviced, but i am truly disappointed this winter by service. Even your own bus drivers shake their heads in embarrassment at you’s when questioned.nnI highly encourage you guys to do a better job maintaining the health and safety of the general public. Someone is going to fall and hurt themselves, maybe even fatally by other vehicles, and you guys are going to be responsible.nnPlease do a better job at clearing snow and caring for the well-being of others in these conditions.nnThank you
For a business whose slogan is “Kindness & Respect Start Here” you’d think the drivers would be friendly, and kind, not rude and arrogant.nnI make a point to be nice, smile and say hello before showing my digital pass upon entering the bus and the majority of the time the driver just gives me a dirty look and waves me away. You chose to drive a bus for a living, not the public’s fault you are unhappy with your job.nnNot to mention the fact that the busses are ALWAYS delayed making getting to work on time difficult.
They don’t have a customer service department it seems. I’ve tried calling a few times to no avail. Not to mention GRT is not the most accommodating modes of transport, kinda sketchy
This was my first trip from Waterloo home to Cambridge and I only had one transfer to go from Erb to Southgate in West Galt. Drivers were helpful and the timing was right on.
I agree that the customer service needs some improvement, however it’s a reliable mode of transportation and for people like me who don’t drive it’s our only mode of transportation and I am so grateful.
