Visited Granby Zoo last Saturday and despite the crowds, we were pleasantly surprised to find no waiting times. Once inside, the expansive size of the zoo made it feel uncrowded. The variety of activities available was impressive, with the standout being the captivating shows featuring different animals presented by the zookeepers. However, there was a slight letdown as a significant number of animals seemed to be asleep and unengaged with visitors, almost as if they were completely hidden from view. Nevertheless, the zoo proved to be an excellent family outing that I wholeheartedly recommend. The food court was efficiently organized, and the pricing appeared reasonable. Arriving around 10:45 am, I was able to secure a convenient spot in the P1 parking area, which is in close proximity to the main entrance. Additionally, purchasing tickets online in advance streamlined the entry process.
Granby Zoo is so much fun! We went around Halloween time and got to see the Halloween adventure around every corner. You get to see amazing animals in cool habitats. It's a great place to visit with your family, and I can't wait to go backVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
First of all if you don't arrive at the parking lot at 10am you may waste an hour waiting to park which is inconvenient, the right turn on red at several intersections here should be eliminated! It is recommended to stay here for two days, one day to see the animals and one day in the water park, there are many types of animals also you can interact with the animals, for example, spend $3 to feed the parrots. The water park has several programs that are very exciting, especially the barrel slides. The rafting program is very suitable for parents and children to experience, smaller children need to wear life jackets. The bumper cars and carousel at the playground are especially popular with children.
Amazing weekend close the animals The lions, elephants, zebra, rhinos. I love it and my kid too The place is pretty clean and well maintained The part I dislike was the fact that the food offers in the park are mostly sweet and fast food, I think the choice is very limited I truly advise you to bring your own sandwiches and drinks The set up to visit is pretty well done so you experience the most out of it Recommendation approved
My favorite zoo, super well done for family with young kids, also has waterpark and rides. My only complaint is it's pricey ticket from 3+ years old and the park opens only from 10am to 7pm in summer. It's impossible to do everything in one day and parking is not big enough to accommodate on busy weekends. We arrived after lining up for a while in cars to learn that parking is full and have to go elsewhere!!!
Good time with kids. I would recommend you go a week day if you can place was PACKED! And if your not from Montreal plan a hotel and take the two day pass you won’t have time in just 1 day to see everything! I Bought my tickets online so i just walked in no line upVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We have been a few times already and this time the animals were more active than usual which was great. The experience, attractions and atmosphere are all really good. Don't miss feeding the birds early or petting the manatees, both at the Oceana section. The bathrooms and facilities were pretty clean and easily accessible no matter where you are. My only "complaint" is that the price has risen by 20$ per person since the last time we came 2 years ago so that shocked us a bit but the exhibits and the work they do at Granby would justify it somewhat. They have a new area in the Asia section under construction so we are looking forward to that next year.
Kids will definitely enjoy it. You can bring your own picnic basket. It's better to plan a 2 day visit and buy tickets online. It's cheaper and faster to go in.
This is a great place to visit with kids. Just remember pools open until June 17th 2023. Always check on their website to see when pool opens. On a hot day a visit to the zoo goes great with a visit to the pools. I would also suggest buying your tickets online.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Great very big zoo. If you want to have enough time to see and do everything definitely make sure to arrive before noon. Parking could use some work since p2 is so far away.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
