We ordered from Uber Eats and really enjoyed the food we ordered. They even gave us spring rolls for free! We got the wonton chips, pineapple pork, ginger beef, general tso’s chicken, plain fried noodles, and white rice. The noodles were quite salty but I think it was a bad batch because we’ve ordered them before and they were great.
Ordered via doordash, overall good bang for buck, however, their noodles were lacking some 'wok hay' and seasoning. Good amount of meat was with the noodles, decent, Def had worst. Hot and sour soup wasn't bad, the biggest downfall to everything, a few hours later, the hit of msg kicked in... So that knocked down their stars.Food: 3/5
Great food. Fast service. Good people. Decent prices. Amazing mapo tofu. They made a simple mistake once and they fixed it with no hassle. I eat here as much as possible.
Customer for over 15 years. Bought take out today in person with my husband, got home unpacked our 3 items that came out to 33 and change. To see my order of general Tao was the size of a salad plate and not even packed in like a normal container. Called the restaurant for them to take note and not be soooo tight on their service and portions as I did pay 17.00 for 1 plate and couldn't even feed 2 hungry ppl. I understand inflation but I been all over town and this was the worst I have seen any establishement ripping customers off. MANAGEMENT told me to go to another restaurant after we discussed back and forth my point of view and his on what I should expect versus what I paid for to top it off i paid extra veggies and got 3 broccoli. I hung up after he was short with me and rude. They Lost a forever customer's bc we are a big family.
Not sure how these guys have a 3 1/2 star rating, the rice is great and so is the chicken, Also at lunch its only 10$ and they give you a good quantity of food! Definitely the best fast lunch Asian place around etobicoke
Amazing dishes! I am very impressed. I would have these everyday.
I ordered seafood pad Thaiit's just taste like noodles with ketchup. taste like leftover.
I like coming here. The food is good. If you're looking for a fast bite it's prepared pretty quick. The inside is a little dated but functional. Staff are friendly. They deliver too. Menu has a lot of options and prices are very reasonable for the quantity you get.
Gourmet express is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Etobicoke. They deserve a 4.8 star rating. They don't use starch in their sauces and are light with the oil. Veggies are always perfectly tender crisp and the meat always tender. Very pleased with their consistency. Cashew chicken with mixed veggies is one my favorites
I LOOOVVVVEEEEE THE SZECHUAN NOODLES! I used to work at the Rogers plus a few years back in the plaza, and I ate this every single day! I couldn’t get enough it. I moved downtown in 2014 and haven’t been back to the area since. I’m now pregnant AND working in the airport, so I just had to revisit my favourite spot. I’ve been back almost every single day for the Szechuan noodles, and Uber eats it on my days off. I’m sorry, I’m a fiend, I can’t get enough! Please provide card stamps so I can get free noodles eventually xD!
