This place is an adorable cute little spot for downtown! Lots great sandwiches selections, and coffee selections which are or seem so yummy! Along with the Sammy’s and coffee selections, they have great little items for sale all from local suppliers! All the staff are kind and friendly! They are willing to help and answer any questions you have. If I’m going out for coffee or to eat, this is definitely a cute little spot to go too! I would much rather pay the price for a Sammy and coffee from here compared to mcdonalds! Kudos to little cute spots like this!
I found the price range to be extremely high. It doesn't taste very good. Pretty sure I seen a couple....hairs in my sandwich! The two young lady's are very nice. But the older one that works there in her 70's that owns the place isn't very nice. Altogether this doesn't even taste good for what I'm paying! I ask what kind of bread they use not even deli bread or anything fancy. Two sandwiches and two coffee at least $50. Just avoid this place. It is not great tasting, did I mention the hair? And ummm $50 is insane!!! For it taste so CHEAP AND GROSS!!!! Disgusting place! Just avoid it!
There aren't many places in Belleville to go for a good coffee so was hoping more of this place. The coffee was average and the muffin just o.k, but the prices are high. The server wasn't very pleasant, don't know if this was just her general demeanour, but she didn't make you feel welcome.
Excellent menu choices and local products for sale, had to pick up a Centre and Main Tea and Toast chocolate bar as a treat for later. Enjoyed Irish Coffees and tea biscuits. Staff very friendly. Location very clean and welcoming. Will be back.Food: 5/5
My son and I had lunch there together, it was delicious vegetarian food and nice staff. My son is only 8 years old and commented how great the service was :
Fantastic customer service and a clean restaurant. My cousin and I really enjoyed their freshly made sandwiches and coffee! We sat in the restaurant until 4:20pm not realizing they had already been closed at 4 pm. They didn't even bring that up to us until we noticed that ourselves. I will definitely revisit this place!
I'm going to give a very detailed review as to why it's one star: First off, the coffee literally in my opinion tastes like Foldgers coffee brand. Also I asked for a bagel, I see not far from them a grocery store brand of bagels by Harvest brand wanted $5 for something you can make at home. There is literally nothing GOURMET about this place. Everything from the coffee tasting cheap to the bagels. It's almost in my opinion feels just like a big scam. The price point for what your getting is nothing exclusive. The owners attitude is beyond rude and has no customer service skills whats-so-ever. The products they serve taste cheap and are extremely expensive to mention the attitude you get. The owner made it point to say "Are you sure can afford an Americano they are like $4". Excuse me?? I shopped here quite a bit just because it's close. I know the price. Awful experience. Don't believe me find out for yourself. Everything in this review you can see for yourself at this establishment. Don't be fooled by the fancy paint on the walls and Wal Mart decor. This place is and tastes cheap and is too expensive. Did I mention rude??? I'm not even kidding the coffee tastes so weak! Go find out for yourself!
The location is great and having a drink on the curbside patio is really nice. I got a fruit smoothie mango, orange, etc for $7 and it was good; not as sweet as you'd get from other places, which makes it taste a little more watered down, but it had a homemade feeling to it. A little pricey, but Gourmet Diem is a solid choice for a morning spent downtown.
Was in for the first time today. The ladies at the counter were very pleasant. I would definately go back.
Thought I was going for a coffee, ended up with that and a wonderful sandwich. After looking at the menu, I know I will be back. Turkey bacon Chipotle grilled sandwich was delicious. Coffee was good. Looking forward to my next visit, and so close to work.Food: 5/5
