We've stayed here twice in the last 10 years. The main house is very interesting, but you feel like an intruder around the hosts, which exactly the opposite of what you'd expect from a B&B. There's a distinct vibe that you're being judged by Christian values. (sic) Very uncomfortable feeling, and you'll feel it in the first 30 seconds. However, the rooms were very charming, the grounds are gorgeous, and the breakfast was very good, although not gourmet. I wish there was wireless, but no. It's really cut-off from the world. 10 years ago, we stayed in the lodge, which was an awesome facility, and perfect for a winter stay. I don't have any regrets, but we won't be staying there again.

I've visited this lovely house last summer and the summer before. It is a lovely quiet (no TV or wi-fi) break from the noisy world and a wonderful place to unwind and slow down. The breakfasts are fairly simple but delicious, and the house is a treasure! I'd recommend it to those who don't want all the 21st century trappings and appreciate bucolic living!

The Halfmoon Room in the Lodge was extremely comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and calming views of the woods. Very clean, felt like a dream home with adirondack charm in the midst of fingerlake elegance. Living room and deck on first floor of the lodge were very beautiful to relax on coming in from the end of the day. Very nice docks on the lake with private gazebo, excellent for enjoying a toe-dipping refresher in the lake. Friendliness and smiles from the owner. Breakfast was not very good, but the coffee and the fresh fruit compensated for the lack of anything memorable. Recommend to future travelers who enjoy quiet locations oustide of town.
