Gondola Incomparable Pizza Acadia

So disappointed. Finally found a place reminiscent of Winnipeg's Gondola Pizza here in Calgary. I placed an order and it was awesome. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered it again a few days later. As I was waiting for the delivery, I read the reviews of people claiming they found hairs in the pizza. I didn't pay much attention to it as it was so good the first time. Anyways, first slice, I had to pull a huge long black hair out from the back of my throat. Absolutely disgusting, you guys. I can understand if this was an isolated incident, but it's obviously not. 70 bucks ! worth of pizza in the garbage. You guys are really disrespecting the Gondola brand and image. Put on a bloody hair net or something. You had me, but ya lost me.

I called and ordered a pizza to be delivered. I was told it was $34 including delivery. When it arrived the bill showed $40. I asked why it was $40 when told it was $34. The driver said 'I don't know...phone and argue with him.' I said i wasn't arguing i was just wondering. I would have tipped on the $34 but since it was $40 i felt $6 was then going to be his tip. So, i didn't hit the tip button. He said, "No tip?" I said you get $6. He walked out swearing. I called Gondola to ask if i got the price wrong. It was confirmed $34. I also checked skip the dishes website and it would have been $31 INCLUDING tip. Owner said made a mistake. I told him to give the driver the $6. I'm not convinced this was a mistake.

Not worth the price. Ordered a Large Boss Pizza. Its 32.50 + tax so you are spending +40 bucks when delivered. Super cheap on the toppings for that price. Not worth it. Tasted ok, not horrible but not great. Will never order again from this place. Way better pizza places out here.

This is my late fiancés favorite pizza he loved pizza more than anything and he introduced me to this place . We always ordered the Aloha 15" thin crust and paid extra for Italian sasauge . It's my favorite and I order it at least once a month however, tonight I ordered it through skip the dishes and I paid $37 and change for a completely different pizza this one had ham and mushrooms. I am very disappointed as I contacted skip support and told them ASAP and nothing has been refunded and I will not be ordering from this place again which is a shame because I was going to order this pizza for the celebration of life we have planned in October for my late fiance . I normally would let this slide however $37 for a pizza I won't eat is not acceptable especially considering I order pizza here a lot ! Very disappointing

Ordered 2 -15 “ - over cooked therefore dry crust was burned little evidence of green peppets. First time recording poor pizza.

Used to love this place. Last night we ordered a pizza at 5:30pm. The man said he would call me back to confirm the order. At 7pm, I hadn't heard so I called back and he said the order was on the way. The pizza finally arrived at 7:45pm. Their card machine wasn't working so we spent 10 minutes trying to get it functional. When we finally did, the driver yelled at my boyfriend for not giving him what he thought was a good enough tip. We were shocked. We finally started eating our cold pizza and I found a hair baked into my piece that I had to pull out of my mouth. We inspected the pizza and found SEVERAL HAIRS BAKED INTO THE CRUST. Beyond disgusted. We will never order from here again. Apparently the hair thing has been an issue as I read through the other reviews.

Really disappointed. We grew up on this pizza. Most original is the ne location. I live in the south. Acadia just doesn’t cut it. North mount location is 2 for 1 deal. The best valueyes the exact pizza. Same amount of toppings and crust. Acadia won’t match that deal. It’s the same as North mount and twice the price. They won’t last charging that much for pizza. Cause there’s a lot of good thick cut pizza places for the same price. I just ordered from Acadia and on top of disappointed with not matching northmount price It was made wrong. Just with what I didn’t want on it and which was to be thick and thin crust. They won’t cut it for the competition they have to stay alive. I’ll log the extra distance for north mount or ne.

Overpriced and had HAIR baked into it. Multiple pieces. Would never order again. 0 out 10 stars.

I ordered a cheese pizza and it was almost completely burnt with multiple hairs baked into it. This place clearly doesn't care anymore which is awful as they used to be my favorite. Don't eat here!!!!!

I rarely post reviews on any sort of food, however this pizza legitimately looks and tastes like a Delissio thin crust pizza. Also ordered the chicken wings which were overcooked. Overall brutal experience, The Jason Weimer of Calgary pizza restaurants.
