One of my absolute favorite neighborhood spots. The patio has a bunch of outdoor seating and shade! and their olive burger can't be beat. I also believe their wings are gluten free breaded in cornstarch, but I haven't had them in a while, so they might have changed. Cash only, but there's an atm, and I'd suggest stopping at Beacon Pub across the street afterwards or the bowling alley right around the corner!

My dad recommended this place so I went the burgers are great they taste like summer if that makes any sense I will be back the bartender was nice here
Was recommended by a long time friend to this establishment. This will be my first and last time going here. Food was okay. But service was terrible. Ambiance was horrible elderly female barkeep refuse to play music. Eventually she turned on the jukebox and then stated that I'd have to put in money. Ate my meal in silence as she awkwardly hovered over me for my entire stay. Bar Keeper was completely unprofessional kept referring to us as "kids". Not to mention that it took her three minutes to analyze our IDs and wanted to know why we didnt have Illinois ID. Extremely nosey and inappropriate for most of the evening. I was the only a patron at this establishment at 8pm. Not entirely sure how this place stays open. She made no mention of taking only cash or "check". Bill was handwritten and there was no receipt.
Una us the best, super friendly. They do not take cash, but the time I was there she was super friendly and insisted not to worry! I was able to call a friend and got the cash need.. and then an extra drink by him. They have 2 sections - like a restaurant area, more family oriented and the Bar. Great and HONEST bar!
Fantastic pub burgers, nothing fancy as they come on a paper plate but be prepared to pile up the napkins. Delish. Say Hello to their festive Irish Bartender Una. Cash or check. And the kitchen hasn't been in the basement for years!! It's behind the swinging doors on the west side of bar. Go get a burger dammit
Got the tokay burger. Cooked really well, tasty, juicy and the bacon was great! Friendly and fast service

Goldybergs annoys me. It’s one of the BEST burgers in all of Chicago but they will never tell you this themselves. It’s like you have to tell them yourself. Superb. They don’t really ‘get’ social media which means people like you and me won’t find them. Please help keep these 96+ year old businesses alive by coming and please remind them to get the hell onto social media and maybe they’ll deservedly be here for another 96 years
