Golden Pond RV Resort

The info on brochure and website is wrong..when questioned answer was it's the future plan. They only have one cabin not 8 . They claim cleanliness but coffee pot mouldy and no attempt to clean on there part when shown. Says check in time after 3pm so we show at 320 after a 5hr drive & office closes at 3..so we wait at gate. Great idea of check out inspection but when getting deposit back said he might find something in the next week and refused to go back to cabin to re check it because he didn't have time. Unfortunately there big future plans are more important than the current

We went Aug 4, 2017 for the long weekend. Unfortunately, they double booked our site to a tiny tent trailer so we ended up losing this larger better site. They offered us several other sites but they were much smaller. As we had a 36 foot trailer pulled by a full size GMC Crew Cab, the sites were a bit tight. All in all, the owner was a nice fellow (Joe) who allowed us to take a different site which again was small but liveable (where else could we go?). Joe and his staff keep the place really clean. We will come back again for sure despite the rocky start.

We stayed for 9 nights. Very beautiful place. We found Joe @ Ann very nice and helpful. Park was very clean and maintained on a regular basis. Small pond was full of small bass that makes it fun for kids. They also have a camp store and restaurant. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Great place! Great people! Restaurant, pool, mini putt, darts, paddle boats, etc. Very clean. Many sights to see within a short distance. Clovermead, Sparta, Winterwheat & a Lavender Farm just to name a few.
