Wow, what a little gem this is. Golden Parrot seems to have a Red or Gold seal chef hidden back there. The food was superb. I am guessing as to the recipe for the fries, but the real secret, I have no clue of, is how they make their burger patties. Delicious food. Humble cozy atmosphere. There's a patio, decent parking. Why not?
Nestled off United Blvd is this very nice pub, the Golden Parrot. Saturday afternoon and it's busy but quiet which was very relaxing. Lots of TVs, nice menu, free parking, huge outdoor patio. Accessible but the place does have a few levels. Very friendly servers. I'm coming back.
Stellar experience at this restaurant/bar. Food has always come out in good time, and the quality is above average for pub eats. Strong emphasis on beer pour/cocktail concocting. Daily specials are good, and Taco Tuesdays are definitely are strong point. I’d recommend checking the location out after work if you’re working in the United Blvd area, and likely you’ll become a regular. Kudos!
We had our 50th Reunion celebration on their patio and it was superb. The staff was amazing and very organized and friendly. The food just kept on coming: delicious. Thank you, Shane and staff for all your hard work. I would recommend this place to everyone whether it is for a quick meal or for a private function.
I really enjoy going to this pub for a bite to eat. Their fries are the best fries I've found on the mainland. Thick, Crispy and seasoned just perfect. I also love their pulled pork sandwich. My partner really likes the hulk burger I havnt tried it but it looks really good as well!
First time ordering from here on Uber got the lasagna and daily desert special everything was delicious and packed nicely, and a really nice thank you card with stickers so cute . Fresh food and flavour full. Thank you so much I found my new take out place and I will be sure to tell my family and friends about this gem
Decent food, decent selection of drinks on tap, and a pretty well-maintained bar. Sometimes the music can be a little too loud and you have to yell to talk to people at your table. Minor issue though, a lot of places are like that. Would recommend.
15 of us Gals attended a reunion luncheon on a Saturday afternoon. There was a reserved area for us. The waite staff were friendly and patient as we were offered first beverages then lunch. The menue included both brunch and lunch offerings and everyone was happy with their meals. The prices were reasonable. They seemed use to large crowds and the bills were individual and payment was quick and painless. The owner came to have a word and took group photos for us. It's just that kind of place. Loved it and will go back.
A lot nicer than I expected. Their pecan salad is great, good selection of beer,nice decorations. I went there for a business meeting and it was a good spot.
Ok this place is amazing. Gavin and Jamie rock the Bar!!! This is one of my favourite pit stops. Can’t wait to come here with group of friends. BEST fries and deep fried pickles anywhere!!! Sorry Cineplex. I’m cheating!!!
