Golden Medal Restaurant

Absolutely furious we paid $105 for 5 meals NOT including tip and the food was beyond disappointing it was disgusting. $20 for Mongolian beef that had no sauce and was terrible gross quality meat that was somehow tough and slimey at the same time! DISGUSTING! $20 for Singapore rice noodles that were dry, bland and tasteless. $25 for mediocre chicken lettuce wraps. Gave us a whole lettuce which was nice but again no sauce and meat extremely mediocre. $20 for Szechuan fried rice with BARELY any ingredients other than peas and a tonne of spice to try and make up for the lack of everything else. $20 for mediocre sesame chicken that was again dry with no sauce and the tiniest amount of sesame seeds! This is the worse food I have EVER gotten and I will be trying to get our money back and will never order from them again. Never leave bad reviews but this place needs to be shut down. You’re dealing with peoples FOOD with a very obvious lack of care, thought and taste!

Went to this place on a whim and really enjoyed it. The protein dishes were really tasty. The almond chicken was SO good. I was telling the owner I had never had such good almond chicken, and she has mentioned how it really does make a difference when you are eating it fresh, as opposed to delivery. Everything was so crispy hot and fresh! I will have to agree with the other review tho about the noddles and rice being completely tasteless. Would go here again.

Was given shrimp chop suey not shrimp chow mein the glassware was the worst I have seen in a BC restaurant male Asian employee expressed fears of gangs.

Good fried noodles and Chop Suey! I've had better sweet and sour pork but this is pretty ok.

Special B...Chowmain/Sweet n sour pork/ chicken fried rice, roughly $12. Food is fresh, hot and delicious. Plenty of food on the plate for a bigger man. 4 stars due to liking more spicy foods. Gen the waitress was friendly and talkative. The inside dining area was quiet but needs an big update. This establishment is kept clean. 2 - 1 person bathrooms. Small double door entrance, not suitable for wheelchairs. I still recommend this location, but best to order takeout or delivery There is another new location on 200st close to Golden Ears Bridge that has just opened in Langley. Kid-friendliness: No not kid friendly dine in. Small area so sound carries. Parking: Street parking only and hard to find. Wheelchair accessibility: No. Small width double doors with a sharp turn. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Super disappointing Mongolian beef is the worst I've ever ordered absolutely flavor less. Singapore rice noodles also were not good. I ordered 5 dishes only one that was okay was the lettuce wrap. Huge disappointment.

The food was of good quality and the delivery was prompt. Excellent service. The dinner for 4 was excellently priced and the portions were more than enough, even had leftovers. Will definitely make this our go to chinese restaurant in our area.

Really mediocre food, pushy lady. Outright asked for payment before I had even placed any food order, and it was definitely not worth $17 each dinner for one plate, four items or not. Made me wish I’d just gone to the grocery store instead.

Haven’t order from here in maybe 6 months and I had an old menus and they raised the prices by 40% . Plus the the Mongolia beef I love has zero flavor… maybe new owner but they lost a customer

Great variety of dishes. The food is not greasy, had good "wok hei" and I like that they have their own delivery that's not just skip the dishes. I ordered the beef and veg stir fried rice noodles, the Buddha's feast and the cashew chicken. I would return for sure! Nice to have a selection of actual Chinese food, not just Chinese Canadian stuff
