I feel I need to share not because of the disappointing meals I've had the last two times but because of the response of the restaurant when I brought it to their attention. I made a simple order of sweet and sour pork and chicken Chow Mein. The last time I ordered this combo there was very little sauce on the pork. I thought ok maybe just an off night and I let it go. Then tonight when I got home with my order... Same thing very little sauce. So I called and told the employee of my disappointment in the food. She put me on hold saying she had to speak to the kitchen. When she came back she apologized and said they would make sure to put more sauce on next time.... What does that even mean ? What I expected was an apology along with a credit for the next time, with the promise of better service and product. Unfortunately the best Chinese food in White Rock is going downhill... Fast

It’s been my go to place since I moved here 12 years ago.Good food ,service and good value. Eat in takeout or deliver all good. Don’t be afraid to try new dishes there’s delicious surprises across the menu.

Fantastic food here, decent prices and nice staff. The old standards are great at this place. My personal favorite are the won ton soup, sweet and sour pork and their Cantonese chow mein. It reminded me back home in Chinatown in Vancouver. Would come again!Food: 5/5

The chicken chow mein was uncooked with no spices and like if the chicken was boiled with no taste at all. I tried to saved it by frying it in a pan with sauces and spices but no luck! Had to throw it away. I don’t recommend this place! Save your money people!!! The rest of the food was cold and like if it was leftovers. I got sick after eating their pineapple pork.

We order every week here for years now and lately the kitchen has been making a mistake on our orders...three times to be exact. When this happened the first two times we were given a credit of 2 to 3 dollars the difference in price of the dish however when this was brought to Connie's attention the third time she blamed us and didn't give us a credit for anything and as a matter of fact blamed us for the mistake by saying we should check our order before we leave the restaurant. Not very good business to blame your long time customers. We won't be ordering there for awhile....if ever again. Once is understandable, twice is bad and the third time it's unacceptable. They should treat their customers better, not blame them for their mistakes. Very disappointing.

Terrible food…. Food Descriptions Were not accurate at all. Ordered mixed vegetable house special which apparently means that it will Come with chicken shrimp Or beef, no where was explained- no option to select. No option for selection Chicken lettuce wraps were pretty much mixed veggie with little Chicken Called To complain and pretty much met with I’m Sorry and that’s it Never would I ever order again Vegetarian options: Wasn’t veggie cause I ordered the house version which doesn’t say anything about adding shrimp chicken or Pork

This is our go to spot for an excellent Chinese food dinner. The menu is extensive . I think it's the perfect restaurant for a casual family get together in the South Surrey / White Rock peninsula.Food: 5/5

I'm not certain why all the raving reviews. I came into town exhausted, overworked and late. I was apprehensive at first because the building appeared to be vacant of any customers now or ever but Google said they were open so I leaped at something without a drive thru. The I assume husband and wife were friendly and inviting. I chose two dinners just in case I wanted to snack the next day; the almond chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the egg roll. The almond chicken I believe is actually old or has been sitting around it's literally all Bread and no chicken, very dry. Even the looks of it isn't appetizing unless you like breadding saturated with grease.very disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice wasn't too bad, very typical thick breading, eat a few and you're set for 6 months, rice lite, not heavy at all but a bit bland I could have used some salt. The egg roll was probably the best eggroll I have ever had. If the staff mom & pop weren't as friendly as they were I believe I'd be more apt to give them a one rating, but I feel an immense amount of guilt writing this review because they were so nice and the place has been around over 30 years so they must be doing something right. It is highly possible I caught them on a very bad night obviously at the end of the night and they needed to dump their leftovers.. however, the items I did get were very basic and that even on a good day I believe there's a little Chinese food amongst the breading.

This place has changed over the last few months, not for the better. The quality of the WOR WONTON has gone downhill- tonight it tasted like boxed broth or bouillon with no flavour, the wontons are smaller and dry, hardly any good meats in the soup and using zucchini pieces as filler …. Totally disappointing Prices went up and quantity went down Do Better!

We received wonderful service. The food however was quite bland and average. I would not come here again but I'm glad I tried it.
