Amazing Saturday treats!!!! Just tried a chocolate cream filled brioche. Highlight of my weekend. Also go for the pain au chocolate and the fruit danishes. Go early before they sell out. And you know, if you are in to bread....A++++

I've been coming to this bakery for several years now, whenever I get to the Kitchener Farmer's Market, early Saturday morning. I almost always pop in after getting my produce to get croissants here. These croissants are beyond any doubt the best in the city!!! Super buttery and so incredibly flakey!! (tip - I use their croissants anytime that I'm making eggs benedict! Yes, it's absolutely THAT much more sinful, having a super buttery croissant as the base for your benedict!!) :)

Really incredible breads and pastries. This is easily the best bakery in town, but they are small and sell out early. Don't expect much on the shelves by 11am.

A great local bakery that does not use preservatives. The best bakery in Downtown Kitchener for cert, maybe the entire Region of Waterloo. Focaccia, epis, baguettes, multi-grains, croissants, scones, sourdoughs. Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Best to arrive early because they often sell out. The temptation is to always buy a lot when you are there, but remember -- no preservatives. Better to come back. Nate and Tavis are happy to give you cash back when you pay with a debit card, so you have money for the market vendors on Saturday mornings. My only complaint is the place is not open Mondays and Tuesdays, and there is no fresh focaccia on Wednesdays. Everything I buy there I like a lot. And I have been buying bread there for more than 10 years.
