If you're looking for authentic Chinese food like you'd find in Markham, you're in the wrong neighborhood. That being said, my husband and I tried all of the Chinese restaurants in the area after moving here from Markham and this is the one we keep going back to. They're friendly, the food is good, and the prices are decent for the amount of food you get. 

The food is typical Canadian Chinese food, prepared with care by the friendly staff. We always get takeout on random nights, and sometimes you'll see their kids doing their homework at one of the tables toward the back of the restaurant. We've tried a variety of items on the menu (pretty much all of the sweet and sour items, Shanghai thick noodles, fried rice, beef & broccoli, cheese wontons/crab rangoons, chow mein, etc.) and while not all of it has been to our tastes, it's all been good. They always package the sauce separately so your breaded/fried items don't get soggy, and they use containers that vent steam for the same reason. 

The only thing that confuses me is the chow mein here is bean sprouts instead of noodles. They'll tell you that when you order so you know what to expect, but I really wish they had chow mein noodles.

Not sure what to get? Try the Shanghai thick noodles.
