However, the quality of service here has made every trip and every penny worth it.nnI was searching for a laser clinic that could effectively tackle my stubborn hair growth for a fair price. It's hard to throw money around as a student, and I was tired of seeing places offering 6 to 8 treatment sessions, knowing I'd likely need to pay up for more soon after to stay hairless. At GoLaser, the initial consult, test patching, and their promise of 24 months of unlimited appointments with lifetime annual touch-ups convinced me that I finally found a clinic where I'd get my money's worth.nnFrom the moment you step inside, you notice the facility is always spotless– practically sparkling– even in January when the snow, mud and salt follow our way indoors. The clinic has a simplistic look; they specialize exclusively in laser services. However, it's impossible to miss when walking down the street, and bad weather isn't a problem, with Eglinton West station being just a short walk away.nnThe staff here are warm and welcoming. When you arrive, they screen and remind you about pre-treatment skincare before entering the treatment room. They have a large bathroom in case you need to prepare yourself, which I use to wash off my makeup. This clinic uses the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus laser machine. It does sting a little but releases a burst of cooling cryogen before each pulse and blows cool air onto the skin throughout, making it much more tolerable. My skin is quite sensitive, and I tend to get laser-induced hives after a session. The technicians always have hydrocortisone cream and aloe vera gel to manage this scenario. They're thorough with aftercare reminders to ensure my skin stays flawless.nnA special shoutout to my technician, Nila, who has been incredible. She genuinely cares about her clients, which is evident in her attention to detail. She remembers my concerns about my body and body hair. She adjusts the machine perfectly to match my varying pain tolerance as treatments become less painful over time. She makes sure that no spot is left uncared for. She remembered details about my life from previous appointments and picked up the conversation precisely from where we had left off. Laser hair removal can feel intimidating when you're not used to being exposed, but it's much less nerve-wracking with her. Thank you, Nila.nnI can't recommend GoLaser enough if you want your money to go a long way. They've set the bar incredibly high, and I feel smoother than a skating rink!
