I have been searching every where for this circular croissant and I am glad I finally found a place in Toronto who has it. Little Pebbles has so far only two flavours available but I notice they are adding some flavours later on. Today I tried there newest flavour the Pistachio White chocolate. The croissant was flaky, creamy and tender and really good. The whole shop was really interesting and had so much different baked goods that were enticing. Ultimately I loved entering this shop and will surely return sometime soon.
Great cafe. Cool different types of pastries. It's not what you get in a normal cafe. There was only one person making the drink so there was a little bit of a wait. It got cleared pretty quickly. The pastries were pretty good and the cappuccino was good.
Definitely a gem! I had the black sesame Chiffon cake and it was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet, was perfectly moist and aesthetically pleasing. The workers were kind and the vibe was great. Definitely coming back here next time to try the other desserts! Although slightly pricey, dont miss out on this spot.
Loved the sweet treats from this lovely little cafe. The lady behind the counter was very nice and said the croffles, which is so unique and my first time eating one, would be great when heated a little, especially the caramel one. The cafe has a nice ambiance and I want to try all their other goodies some time soon. It's in a great spot in Kensington market, so it's perfect to get a dessert here after a meal in nearby restaurants.
It is a perfect place to have a long breakfast My husband and I went to this place on Sunday morning around 10 am and there wasn’t any line. Everyone is friendly. They have delicious variety of croissants . I was really interested in trying the Cube and wheel croissant from their menu. It is amazing and huge, the cream inside is very soft. I recommend to try it at least once
Small cafe in Kensington with incredibly delicious and unique pastries! Even at 5pm they still had lots which is normally uncommon among popular bakeries where thing sell out in the morning. Everything looked delicious but we settled for the matcha croissant cube and it did not disappoint. First of all, it is quite hefty and probably at least 2 regular croissants worth. Super tasty, light flavourful matcha cream that they did not skimp on and not too sweet. Croissant texture was still delicious too. Definitely want to come back to try more things and as it’s worth the price point!
Came here to try their chocolate ganache wheel croissant. I LOVED IT!!! It’s a beautiful, flaky croissant and the ganache is filled all the way through! So you don’t get the annoying, filling-less end bite. All their croissants looked beautiful, I’d love to try their almond cream box croissant next! This is a big and pricey croissant though - I only had half and shared the rest. It was around $10 with taxes so be aware of that!
Croissants: They are aesthetically pleasing AND good, especially after being warmed up. The flavors and topping combinations are unique but good. Croffles: These are good as well when heated up, but honestly I have a hard time tasting the butteryness after it's smashed in a waffle shape. Very good, but not enough of the "croissant" effect i prefer buttery. Very pretty though. Must place to try! There's an item for all types of taste!
If you're looking for a good croissant or baked good, look no further than little pebbles. Operating from a smallish location in Kensington Market, the folks at little pebbles COME OUT SWINGING with their food and baked goods and I could not be more excited to know that it's only a 5 minute walk from the house. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu from here
Stumbled upon this café and had to go in when I saw their sign advertising their Croissant cube! I'd never heard of a cube shaped Croissant before so I had to try it! Other than its shape and impressively large size, nothing else about it was special. It tasted like a yummy Croissant as expected and was soft with the flaky layers inside. It was a fun experience and the matcha latte was tasty. They also do latte art on hot chocolate! I probably wouldn't get the Croissant cube again because it was pricey but once was worth it for the experience and I would definitely visit the café again.
