Global Dental Centre

Just had my wisdom teeth extracted by J. Tai and the team, and they are excellent professionals. I am visiting here for an year and I am not disappointed.

I had a such great experience here! I haven't been here for a long time, but the front desk receptionists and also the dentist were all so nice to me. The service is absolutely incredible! I'm also writing this review just to mark the first day of my orthodontic treatment haha

Dr. Alexander Fu is the nicest doctor around! He really cares about his patients, their smile, satisfaction and even personal lives! I went to this dental office with a very complex dental issue - I wasn't expecting any sort of solution. He took once look at my x-rays, introduced himself to me and told me he had a plan. He's very sincere and everyone is the office is very welcoming. I have never felt so good about my experience or smile! a life changing feeling :)

The pictures of this place on google aren't even close to what it actually looks like... The last time I went for an appointment there I had the worst dental cleaning of my life. The hygienist was unnecessarily rough and didn't correct herself when I asked her to stop. Service has gone downhill over the years and the new staff are rude and unprofessional. I switched dentists and now only get the occasional call from Global Dental Centre aggressively telling me to book an appointment.

The 2 stars is for the staff and front desk. The dentist I had was fine. I was called the day before my cleaning saying that the dental hygienist had an "emergency" and asked if I could come in later that day instead. I said that I couldn't and then they said that was OK and to come in at my original time. Huh? Did you just lie to me? This would have been my second time getting a cleaning from them but I cancelled that day. Normally I don't post negative reviews but the sad thing is this was the SECOND time they tried to pull this tactic on me so I felt inclined to voice this issue. Emergencies happen and I get it but be honest Global Dental, your patients deserve better.
