Glenacres Historic Inn

Great little location, and the owner is really accommodating. I appreciate the help when I needed it and would recommend anyone to stay here who wants a more local vibe than a commercial hotel.

I love this little find on the way into WestPort, was. This is a beautiful and quiet little inn. Very clean....love the sheets actually smell fresh and clean. I feel safe sleeping there. It is well worth the value and the owners are very personable.

We stayed in the upper floor of the coach house. There was no place to hang clothes . The ceiling fan did not work . We made the reservation by phone. We wanted a whirlpool suite. I specifically asked if the whirlpooltub would accommodate 2 people. The person taking the reservation said "it's got a 5 foot tub in the room . I asked again if that would accommodate 2. He answered "yes". If both of us weighed under 100 pounds we would have fit in the tub together . I won't be staying here again .

Love it here! Private feel while still being in town. The owners have done such a great job. Each time we come back there's more improvements done. Deer walking through almost daily. We love the decor in the rooms also, they feel like home.

Cabins have the needed space if you get the right one. The owner is very nice (builds all the cabins himself). Only complaint is spiders and where the place is at (town wise). Close to beach tho
