Great course, well three 9s. Played from blue to yellow challenging. Fairways are good condition, greens are perfect. Staffs great!! The starters friendly had some good tips!!
Played here as part of a golf tournament. Clean and pleasant establishment. Staff were helpful. Course conditions was probably a 7/10. With all the rain we’ve had thought the fairways would be a little more plush. Overall a good experience.
We hosted a fundraising tournament for our varsity team at Glen Eagle, and things went very smoothly! The staff onsite were friendly and helpful, and were accommodating to our requests and needs. The venue space for our dinner and reception was lovely, with large windows, wood floors, etc. The golfers and dinner attendees had a great time, and we will look to host our annual event there next year!
Nice golf course , nice food and excellent staff
Course is in great shape. Friendly staff and nice to have shuttle to club house. Got there early to use range before my 8:00am round to find out range was closed because irrigation was on. I like to warm up before tee off. Hoping to grab breakfast only to find restaurant closed.. and at the turn to find restaurant still closed.. green fees a little high..
We hosted our wedding at Glen Eagle Golf Club October 2018 and we would highly recommend this venue to family and friends! Great food was a high priority for us and they did not disappoint. Our meal was absolutely phenomenal, we were able to customize our menu and bar to suit our needs and a variety of dietary restrictions. There were a ton of options, it was all cooked to perfection with super fresh ingredients. Many compliments to the chef! From start to finish the wedding planning process was so simple and effortless. Glen Eagle is the complete package. We wanted a rustic but classic venue and they delivered the stone fireplace in the Albion room got me!. We primarily communicated with Jaymie, who was attentive and helpful, answering any questions and a huge support. We finalized our details and had our tasting with Brad, I can confidently say communication between the two of them was clear and they both ensured our day went off without a hitch. The serving staff was professional and attentive, everyone who worked the night of our wedding was very helpful and accommodating. Glen Eagle staff was a huge help with set-up, bringing my vision to life and worked well with outside vendors. We had a point of contact on site up until the end of the night including clean-up. Our photos turned out beautifully thanks to the meticulously maintained grounds. Our guests raved about cocktail hour, the variety and quality of of hors d'oeuvres and the overall atmosphere. Glen Eagle is a hidden gem, I would definitely consider them for future events.
Worst course in the GTA. Absolute worst. Sell to clublink already your course is in terrible shape. Worst food I've ever had. Not just at a course. Not edible. Steak on a bun. Was hamburger bun. Likely a grade B steak. And it's always the same every time. Bad. Capital B.
Very nice and clean course. The clubhouse is not too shabby either.. the staff are super friendly especially the kitchen staff! I will be back here again
It seems like a very plain “boys-club” Nothing special as their main focus is golf. Place needs updating to get them out of the 70’s. Its more like a catering hall n cafeteria than a place for any nice events, however, the large patio with large gazebo is very nice fir wedding ceremonies. Bonus is that it is very economical for a wedding in comparison to other venues. IN RETROSPECT.... Indeed I did not go there just to do a review. I hope no one does that. I appreciate the response to my first review. I was attending an event. To be fair, i will be attending other events there and look forward to reviewing the positive as the response suggests. Thank you
Golf in October! Hockey has started, baseball playoffs are under way, and Fall golf, doesn't get any better. The Blue/yellow course was in great shape. Never played here before, so I would like to see how good the course conditions are in mid season, they must be fantastic! Not an easy course, but who wants easy? Greens are nicely guarded, fairways are fairly tight with enough room for a bit of error off the tee. Definitely would come back, a bit of a drive from Toronto, but then most of the worth while course are too.
