Originally opened in 1948 and remodeled in 1999, the Glen Dairy Bar is located on the south end of Franklin Street in downtown Watkins Glen. We are open from April to October. Stop by and try your favorite homemade flavor!

Great variety of ice cream including some of our favorite Gifford's flavors. We came by for an mid-afternoon treat so it was very quiet. There were social distancing markers and lanes all around, masks were worn appropriately by the staff and there is a nice patio to sit at. We'd definitely stop back by if we are in the area again.
The large size soft serve ice cream $5 comes to about half a tub, double up on your cones.
The ice cream here was very very good! Definitely our favorite ice cream shop that we visited while in Watkins Glen. There were so many unique options and the homemade flavors were awesome! The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
This Watkins Glen staple has a huge assortment of flavors, with dairy-free, vegan, low-sugar options, and beyond! They've also got a great anti-COVID health and safety protocol going right now, with distancing markers on the ground. We tried a few delicious ice creams on this trip, and all were awesome!
First time being there tonight with my husband. They have so many selections to choose from. One could go into a diabetic coma trying every flavor they have. Great service, fast, friendly and the portions are amazing.

What if I told you that you could have so much ice cream you might not finish it all? Well, that was a dream come true for myself and my group! We had some of the best ice cream that we've ever tried in large quantities, and it was really inexpensive! Great place!
