We made the drive from Hamilton weekly for therapy for our dog, Jazz post surgery. The team gave our family such amazing care. They have been with us every step of the way and always available if we have questions. They respond quickly, and I never doubted for even a moment that they didn't have Jazz's best interest in mind before anything else. Finding a team we can trust fully during this time has been a god send and we're so grateful.

We have been taking our dog here for physiotherapy for some time now. It turned his life around. Relieved pain and gave him more mobility. I highly recommend them.

I have been going here weekly for two years now for swimming, water treadmill and laser treatments with my rescue dog. She has an old injury that never healed correctly and without the help of this clinic she would not have been able to maintain the full use of her leg. We are so grateful to all of the wonderful staff for keeping her fit, walking and pain free!

I have been bringing my dog Hercules to Gilmour Road for physiotherapy for a few weeks now. Hercules loves going and has shown great improvement. The staff are always very kind, professional, and helpful. They send me videos of Hercules doing physiotherapy which is just an added bonus to the excellent care he receives at Gilmour Road. They also have a helpful website where they share at-home exercises that makes it easy to keep track of and learn how to do. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience here and would recommend Gilmour Road to anyone!

My husband a large animal vet at OVC and I highly recommend this wonderful place. Dr. Liz has helped and encouraged me many times over the years 12 with all my Rottweilers. Each of my girls have enjoyed weekly swims and when needed the underwater treadmill. My dogs are show and agility dogs and I give them only the best of care....that is why we HIGHLY recommend this clinic. It is clean and the staff are totally trained to help the clients and their best friends! Go for a visit, I am sure you will love it as my dogs and I do!

Caring and knowledgeable staff who take time to keep their patients comfortable. My dog has been going for rehab and conditioning for several years and it really helps keep him sound.

Update: Since my last review a year ago, we now bring both of our dogs in to see Gilmour Road. Our Husky/Shepherd tore his first CCL in 2020 and his second in May 2021, so we have seen the Gilmour Road Team for both recoveries. They have been so helpful with both TPLO surgery recoveries. It's reassuring to be able to come in weekly and have his progress monitored so closely. It's also comforting to know that if we have a question we can easily reach out by email as well. Thank you Dr. Pask, Julie, and the whole Gilmour Road team! Our frenchie has been going here since March for her hip dysplasia. Dr. Pask and Julie are both great and the laser/hydrotherapy has helped our girl gain muscle mass. We are happy with her progress!

I have used and continue to use Gilmour Veterinary Clinic since it opened for all three of my dogs. My older boy who has a neurological issue. Without the services and advise provided by Dr. Liz Pask and Julie Dorney my boy would not have the quality of life he has today. With every change in my boys condition this caring staff worked to adjust exercise and therapy to keep my boy mobile, pain free and happy! When my second dog was injured Dr. Liz ensured I got the proper diagnosis for her injuries and then Dr. Liz and Julie worked to ensure she had proper rehab program and conditioning that helped her return to her taxing sport in the field with success. They have also taught me to maintain her fitness and manage her training in a manner that keeps her healthy and thriving in the sport she loves! As for my third he has been conditioning and preparing for spring to ensure he starts his field season injury free with the amazing advice and support of the Gilmour team. This is a knowledgeable team who go above and beyond to assist owners with and their animals. I am very fortunate to have found this team as would highly recommend the staff and services!!!

I wanted to write a review of Gilmore road now that my dog has completed her rehab program at the clinic. When I had to decide what clinic I was going to bring my dog to for her rehab, I decided to go with Dr. Pask because of her reputation with in the dog community. Dr. Pask is well known for being very knowledgeable, practical, and very well respected. When my dog hurt herself I was told by many people I needed to bring her to Dr. Pask. So, needless to say my expectations were very high for the clinic and I was not let down! During our first appointment Dr. Pesk and her staff were very good with my dog. They were able to pick up on her subtle body cues that she was starting to get a little stressed and need a break from the assessment. They were more than willing to let her decompress, wiggle, and say hi! Their first concern was to make sure her experience was fun and full of treats. They were very conscious to make sure that under no circumstances that they were pushing her out of her comfort zone. Dr. Pask was extremely gentle while handling my dog, to the point were even 6 months later this stands out in my mind. Though it makes sense as Dr. Pask must be accustomed to handling dogs whom are very painful. During the first visit my dog was introduced to the underwater treadmill and laser, you are also given homework to work on throughout the week. After the assessment you and Dr. Pask come up with a game plan for rehabing and you purchase your weekly sessions. There were many times during our rehab sessions that the staff at Gilmore went above and beyond what I have experienced from other clinics. One time at a rehab session I noticed my dog has skinned herself on her foot and Dr. Pask was more then willing to have a quick look and clean it before we headed home . I also wanted to comment on how reasonable their prices are! Its too the point where I am wishing other specialists had a billing system similar to Gilmore I have been to other specialist over the years with my animals. My insurance covers a large amount of the rehab but they do not cover exams and I have found with other specialists that their exam fees are close to $300 which my insurance will not cover. Gilmore is not structured like that at all! The exam fee was not nearly as expensive and if your dog needs a large number of rehab sessions its actually cheaper then the fewer sessions. Everything is designed to be cost effective for owners and to have insurance cover most of the treatment. Which I very much appreciate!!! Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience with Dr. Pask and everyone at the clinic! All the staff are very knowledgeable, and I enjoyed chatting with everyone while my dog was in the water treadmill. Needless to say, if your dog needs a rehab veterinarian, I strongly recommend Gilmore! Thank you guys for everything you do/did! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!! 10/5 Start rating from me!
