I'm from Wisconsin me and my family went up to Maine to go visit my great Grandpa and great grandma, because my great Grandpa has dementia and we went to go eat ice cream here in reminds me of times that me, my family went, it's such a great place and definitely recommend!
Number 1 ice cream in the world. Gifford reminds me of the ice cream I used to eat as a child. Rich, creamy, and many flavors to choose from. Must try.
I loved my waffle cone with 1 scoop each of chocolate chip, cookie dough, and chocolate peanut butter! Nice picnic area to sit in while eating.
Wonderful place. Outdoor seating. Large portions. We ask for cups to put kids cones in to give us back up. AND we take baby wipes. Can't recommend that enough, for after your kids dive into that ice cream with enthusiasm. You may need a couple too.
I've been to many ice cream shops and this is hands down my favorite. So many flavors. There's a young guy working there who I run into every time and he's just so funny and nice. So good employees and even better treats .
Kind, friendly service, delicious ice cream! Plenty of picnic tables to sit and eat. Ordered a Kiddie cone Soft serve vanilla, and then in dish for my son, perfect size! He loved it! I had the Peanut Butter Parfait! OMG scrumptious!!! I ate the whole thing! Sharing a few bites with my son, of course!
I was extremely disappointed this year on my vacation to find out that they got rid of the non dairy dole whip. They only had frozen ice for me and that's just awful sugar water. At least dole whip taste more like an ice cream when you can't eat dairy. I did get my husband a blueberry shake and he said it was one of the best that he's ever had. Nice people, but nothing for me here anymore.

New flavor offerings every year/month. Some of the best ice cream in Maine. A little hard to get out of due to location. May have to wait a few minutes to exit parking lot. They do have picnic tables in the rear for nice weather if you want to sit outside and eat.
Whenever I go there is a line - for good reason : !!! They have the most delicious ice cream around with so many flavors to choose from and a great variety of loaded specialty ice creams. They are always friendly and speedy no matter how busy!
