Great hardware store, been doing business there for years, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Yesterday was a different experience tho as I was the recipient of a random act of kindness from the owner as she saw me admiring a very expensive tool box and decided she was going to give it to me as a Christmas gift. I have never had anything like this happen to me, wow luck me and such a nice thing to do! God bless.

They're doing a great job but very busy and just barely have enough staff. Always bummed that they're closed on Sundays. Would be great to have a few hours for DIY projects

Decent prices and good service

A bit pricey. The alternative is to catch a ferry into North Vancouver to visit Home Depot. They do carry everything you may need for hardware and building supplies. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Do your research before hand. Arm yourself with the proper precise questions you seek clarity on. Lastly double check your bill of sale.

What a great building supply company. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, in all of the departments sales desk, shipping and out in the yard. Great that GBS will accommodate special orders of items that are not normally in stock for me this has been a great time saver. Wonderful company!

Product information on their website is missing, when you call them they are giving you high level unless information. You have to visit the store to figure out if they have the items you're looking for - waste of time.
