Went for our 3 year anniversary and the whole experience was a home run. The service was amazing, they seated us at a nice table a bit secluded, the oysters were the best I've ever had and the pepper steak was delicious. They even gave us a cake and took our picture which they printed and gave to us I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Well done Gibbys, you made an amazing memory for us thank you.
Celebration of my spouse birthday, we managed to get a last minute reservation for 8people. They fit us in with a nice spacious table. The waitress was very professional and very nice. The culinary experience was outstanding ! Parking: big free parking lot on site Wheelchair accessibility: yes there is a wheel chair access ramp
We received a warm welcoming upon our arrival despite we didn't have a reservation. We were well taken care of by amazing lady, Monique . Foods was amazing! We will definitely be back!
I reserved with open table. Warm welcome walking in. Claude my waiter was very knowledgeable, kind and professional. Rockefeller oysters are very good. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection : blackened on the outside, medium rare inside. I was very pleased with the experience and will come again.
Very enjoyable diner as always. Started our dining experience with the usual Gibby's pickles, hot bread with butter and side bacon. The Gibby's salad never disappoints and our server was quick to bring us a more dressing as he love the house dressing ! My spouse had the beef wellington and it was tender as could be with a beautiful crust. My steak with pepper sauce was also cooked to perfection with a nice crust and pepper sauce was just right. Service was efficient and cordial as one would expect from this institution.
The food is great, especially the lamb. The portion is also pretty large, end up taking some home. Also love the service and atmosphere. Spent $100 each person.Food: 5/5
From the Christmas decor, to the service, to the amazing food. You really get what you pay for at this restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to be there for a birthday, you get an incredibly delicious cake.
We made our reservations well ahead and had a very nice table. The restaurant decor has not been changed in many years, if ever, which could have been overlooked if the food and customer service had been good. When we first got there, our service was excellent! Very attentive. As the restaurant got busier, the service declined drastically. We started with the wedge salad which was excellent! The best blue cheese dressing I have had with large chunks of blue cheese. My husband had steak and I had lobster. The steak was an inferior cut for almost $70 and not well cooked. The Monte Carlo potato was delicious. The lobster was over-cooked. The broccoli was mushy and the asparagus was rock hard. A disappointing meal in a restaurant well known for good food. Our first and last time.
Service is awesome! Portions are big and the meat is delicious. They will serve you pickles which are delicious, bread, butter and bacon bits when you arrive, a sorbet after your appetizer and some mint chocolates after you finish your dish.
This was our first time visiting this establishment GIBBYS and we were not disappointed, all of the staff are going out of their way to make your meal and stay unforgettable. And the food was outstanding. This won't be our last time. See you next week.
