Food was pretty good. The prosciutto and fig bruschetta was really solid and would get it again. The calamari was okay… though the sauce it came with was really solid. For entrees, the best thing we tried was hands down the Romano crusted chicken salad. I’m not a big salad guy but this one was VERY good. Our second favorite was probably the pizzas. We had the stinger which was solid but maybe too much honey, still good though. And the pepperoni * banana peppers was also really good. I think the pizzas were a very good value for the amount of food you get. The pasta was okay, not my favorite. The paccheri vodka was okay but maybe a little too salty. Maybe that’s how the dish is supposed to be but I found it odd. Otherwise a really good flavor. All in all enjoyed the experience and would come back to try more.
They were super swamped so the service wasn't a 5 cus it happens. I'd still return! Had the balsamic chicken salad which was fresh and tasty, the meatballs, maybe up their game with fresh calamari and not "seafood loaf". Zucchini fries were good. Drinks were good. Open, trendy decor. Well lit. Got loud later but who cares, fun place. Again would return. Check them out!
Really great appetizers and delicious pizza! Staff is friendly, and the ambiance is top notch. Perfectly located for a leisurely walk before or after dining.
A cute little Italian spot in St Charles. I came here with a girlfriend before, GET THEIR APPS. Very tasty and its different than your ordinary appetizers. Their crusted romano chicken salad is also BOMB. It isn't your ordinary salad as well. Their pizzas are meh in my opinion, but if I had to choose between the Stinger or the Pepperoni & Banana peppers, I would pick the pepperoni & banana peppers pizza! The stinger has mikes hot honey, but its a little bit too much honey for my liking. If there was a slightly less drizzle of the honey then it would've been my favorite for sure. Their pastas are also light, and full of flavors. We got the Paccheri Vodka & the Sausage + Rapini Tagliatelle. The tagliatelle has the broccolini in the pictures attached! The Paccheri Vodka dish is in the black bowl! This is a spot that I will come again to because it's just too good to not come to!
Great blend of casual atmosphere and fine dining. Tried the cocktails and bruschetta on the patio and everything was perfect/impressive. Service was spot on, never missed a beat between drinks, water top off, etc, stopping by several times. I didn't feel like I was on an island far from the kitchen/bar on the patio and was able to relax and enjoy the high quality food and drink. Nice touch on the lemon/basil drink and the whiskey peach. Bruschetta was carefully prepared, with blanched/marinated cherry tomatoes and toast points with baked mozzarella, it was excellent. Cant wait to come back and try some pastas and the rest of the menu.
This was absolutely one of the best original Italian pizza pie spots I have experienced. The pizzas were perfectly individual size with a ton of fresh ingredients. My daughter and I stopped in at her suggestion for a late lunch early dinner. Not crowded at all. Restaurant was quaint, well appointed, clean and very well sanitized. Margaret was our server and was able to present exceptionally well considering she was handling several other tables on her own. The DESSERTS….An absolute must try when you stop in. Thanks for a great experience!
WOW!! We ordered their lunch special comes with small pizza & side salad for $13 very good price Delicious flavors one was the carmalized onion topped with arugula greens . wasn’t too crazy about my side salad had too much beet’s but it was still good, my husband ordered d spicy pizza was also delicious flavor Definitely will come back again
An atmosphere that lacks ambiance, but makes up for In the food you experience. This is must taste, not see restaurant. It's casual dining takes away from how you want to feel but gives you the peace of mind to what you eat. I encourage you to step away from an evening of white table cloths and dim lighting to enjoy the wonderful menu GIA MIA offers, so far to go as the appetizers have a tapas style for a full course to indulge on. This was our 1st time here. Excellent! We got into our rvsp right away. They were busy however that didn't stop the outstanding service! Our food came out quickly and was a great temperature. The coffee was so good. We had the califlower small plate & great flavor. I had the pasta & my friend had the pizza. Both were so good. We ended it with tiramisu. Extremely authentic food. Best experience ever!
Risotto, honeycomb ricotta bread and mini desserts were amazing. Excellent presentation, fine ingredients... Friendly staff.Food: 5/5
