Purchased a condo built by Clement in Cornwall approximately 2 years ago. When we moved in we noticed a fowl smell in our stairwell so I had the gas company come in and they assured me it wasn’t natural gas so under the advisement of a friend we contacted St Lawrence testing from Cornwall and had the air analyzed guess what it came back as METHANE GAS. Obviously there’s a problem with ventilation. This as been going on for almost 2 years. My recommendation is to stay away from this company .
Poor construction it's been 10 months and multiple false hopes to get stuff fixed on our Tarion warranty.. the communication between the builder & client is the worst I've ever seen! I kind of regret buying from this builder...
As a full-time home inspector for twenty years, I've inspected over 7,000 homes. I recently inspected a townhouse in Rockland built by Clement Construction, and it is my professional opinion that this home is likely the most well constructed home I've ever inspected. The builder's choice of superior-grade components, such as heavy-duty truss joists instead of typical I-joists, engineered ceramic underlay appears to be fibre cement instead of typical plywood, high quality shingles instead of the usual "builder-grade" 15 year shingles... the list goes on. My hat goes off to this builder. On top of all, this home was the first truely perfect home absolutely no deficiencies at all I've had since 2010, and only the 7th perfect home out of the 7,000+ in my career.
Always having problems and they do the bare minimum to fix them, without regard to how bad it looks.
