Mission Statement "To excite the community about the Arts"
We provides space for music & meetings, a Gallery Shoppe that features contracted local artists, our Native "Biindigen" Gallery & our KidzArt Gallery.
The Gallery features eight to ten exhibitions each year showcasing emerging and established artists who work in a variety of media and artistic expression.
In 2004-2005 the GAC became the home for the largest collection (outside his family) of paintings by Albert Chiarandini who worked along side the group of seven. Donated by Bruce Smith, our collection of Chiarandini, Smith and photographer Tom Zsolt, is on permanent display in the Bruce Smith Gallery.
We offer various art classes and workshops for all ages throughout the year; Including march break camps and P.A. Day classes and a variety of Summer camps for the children.
The GAC is a registered Charity and is supported by the Trillium Foundation of Ontario, the Southlake Community Futures Development, the Town of Georgina and various donations, memberships, sponsorships and fundraising events.
