Had a fantastic time. The waitresses were really attentive and filled up our coffees in a timely manner : The portions were generous and we even had some food to take home! The decor was minimalist and modern and the setup was spacious without being too loud or crowded. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. Cherry on top was the $5- mimosas! Yum!
We found that the wait time was a bit long. I mean it's breakfast, that should come out relatively fast. We ordered a simple breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancake. The food was okay. my husband ordered the hungry man breakfast, his bacon was very overcooked burnt, so they replaced that right away. He asked for his potatoes to be well done and those were not. I found the potatoes to be extremely soft as if they'd been boiled. I liked the rest of my breakfast and the pancakes were tasty. Coffee was included, however, I enjoy strong coffee and it tasted water down to me. Our server was nice and attentive. She checked on us on the regular and refilled coffee in a timely fashion. One thing we noticed was that the tables were not cleared off right away. Could be due to them having been understaffed possibly? During the time we were seated, the tables next to us were not cleared off for 20+ mins. There was a young lady behind the counter who seemed to be doing things that could have waited i.e. rolling forks and knives into napkins. Priority should be to clear the tables and then resume with other tasks. My review is based on a combination of food quality, service and atmosphere overall. The
Ordered two eggs, Bennett...presentation amazing. They were supposed to be one with bacon one with ham. Got them both with pemeal. One with a side of bacon and the other side of sausage....Bacon good.. Sausage floating in oil and not a good flavor. DO NOT ORDER. Will come back to try their lunch and dinner.Food: 3/5
While visiting Collingwood we decided to come to this Family Restaurant. They have a lot of food items on their menus. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Greek Dish and the amount of food that they serve it is super generous. I was expecting to see everything on a single plate and I was surprised that I even asked my server if the order was correct. The amount of salad that they serve its a lot and they are very generous with the feta cheese. I enjoyed the entire dish. If you are super hungry I highly recommend. I'll definitely will be back to this place next time I'm visiting Collingwood my entire Family and friends had a marvelous and pleasant time at this restaurant. I highly recommend to come and visit and see their extensive menu items.
Shocked this place is getting five stars? I ordered the eggs with home fries and a pancake on the side. Pancake in the middle was definitely not cooked well. My home fries aka potatoes were raw literally raw, little tiny ones were half cooked. The eggs were scrambled but literally tasted like they were put in a pan for 2 mins and served. My friend ordered an omelette with home fries and a pancake, her omelette the middle was runny, the veggies jn the omelette were raw and the potatoes were raw. Very disappointed. If you zoom into you picture the big potatoes are raw
My friends and I group of 10 stopped here for breakfast after the cottage, before a long drive back to the city. They sat us almost immediately after we walked in 12:00pm which was nice considering we had no reso. That was the only positive part of the experience. We ordered our drinks, which were fine and came swiftly enough. We ordered at 12:15. I ordered avocado toast. At 1:30 I left the restaurant to go grab something from a nearby store, and when I returned the food still hadn’t arrived. Around 2pm the first dish that came out was mine. Literally the most abhorrent looking plate with tiny pieces of toast, barely any avocado, covered in a mountain of feta and onion. I lost my appetite and had them take it back. My friend asked the waitress for water 3 times, and the waitress said “okay honey, I’m just trying to get the food out” as though she didn’t have a full 2 hours to bring water to our table. The food my friends ordered looked fine and tasted okay, but the wait and service was unacceptable. If they had known it would be such a wait, they should have told us and we would have left the restaurant. 0/10 experience.
We went to Collingwood and had lunch at this family restaurant. We ordered haddock fish and chips with coleslaw and fries and bottomless coffee which was the lunch special, hamburger with fries, 3 pieces pancake with bacon and a small salad with balsamic dressing. We all enjoyed the food. The restaurant also serves all day breakfast. The place is clean. The restaurant is understaff,  there were only two staff but they managed well and our server made sure that we got everything we need and refilled our drinks when needed. She provided excellent customer service considering that the place was busy.

Amazing! We are so impressed! This is our second time eating here. First time was breakfast which was a huge vegetable omelette with homemade homefries huge portions and DELICIOUS! Great prices also for the amount of food. We just finished dinner! WOW! Had greek souvlaki chicken dinner- sooo delicious! Huge huge portion of lemon potatoes and rice! Chicken so delicious! And the greek salad was AMAZING! Not a side salad… it literally could’ve been a dinner for 2 people the salad was HUGE! We cannot say enough about how delicious the food was and how astounding the portion sizes were. We have found our new favourite restaurant! Thank you so much for the wonderful service and experience! Oh and we were given a free cheesecake dessert as well!
Friendly staff, but we'll eat elsewhere next time:. Food was cold, not very tasty, they forgot parts of our order, you get the idea. Decor was nice though, everything was clean ... maybe I'm being harsh ...maybe it's best suited for the time you want to have lunch with your aunt/nana.
