Not only the staff, but also the students are terrible!! Everywhere I walk I see people hitting some sort of drug/drink. The bathrooms are very unsanitary and it is just a very dangerous and unsafe place to be in general. I always feel like my life is in danger when walking in this building. After spending 4 years of my life in this chamber-like building, I can gladly say along with my friends and siblings, this is not a healthy and educational environment to have kids learning at.nnBest Regards,nFormer Georges Vanier Secondary School Graduate.
Convenient. Swimming lessons are back after the long STOP for COVID. Management ay timed struggles to get qualified staff to train swimmers. As a community, we need to help at this time. Ample parking.
All in all, I’m satisfied with this school. However the only reason I didn’t give a 5/5 is their counselors!!! Their advice is totally misleading and they make you feel like a fool who knows nothing about the educational system in Canada!!! I’ve also noticed they’re biased when it comes to foreign students.
I don't understand why this school doesn't have a choir and there are so few extracurricular activities.
Such good times, amazing staff spent one of the best years at Vanier. Not only good staff but very special programs there, students from different schools always showed up for our event, Mrs G the principal is very supportive always encouraged me to do my best not only academically but also in sports.nSpecial thanks to Mr Ramsy who I look up to, made my days at Vanier phenomenal and always supported us in every possible waynAll in all Vanier is such an amazing schoolnClass of 2015!
