WOW! Stopped by the Gem Gallery on my way home from work today. And was treated to "white glove" service. Had a watch battery to change out. It was near to the end of its business hours on a Friday. So guess I had low expectations of dropping it off and picking it up after a matter of days. Instead, the lady happily did it then and there - in just a few minutes, as we engaged over conversation. And its cost was most affordable. Glad to see GG's old Franklin Inn location has changed, yet this longstanding Sherwood Park business's customer obsession persists. A most refreshing, positive experience. Wouldn't hesitate to go back and would recommend GG to anyone with jewelry needs or wants, especially with the Christmas season nearing.

I brought my wedding and engagement rings in to be soldered and they completely disregarded the two specific instructions I had given them on placement of the bands together. I would have appreciated a phone call before they decided to go another route. I told them I was very unhappy and they had nothing to say or offer. I also emailed them again about it and never got a response. An apology and a remedy of some sort would have been great customer service. I'm still giving a 3 star rating because the soldering was well done but completely not aligned the way I had specified. Very disappointed.

I dropped my neckless off on August 21st and I just got it back September 20th. I called them twice to see if it was ready yet. The first time they said they were busy so that's fine. The second time I called they told me "well this is your second time you broke it" I told them no, this is the first time. Then they told me he was having a hard time with it. I wasn't too impressed they told me I broke it twice and pretty much he started then stopped working on it. A phone call would have been nice saying they were having a hard time with it and where the clamp is, it wasn't fully closed. That I don't think needed to be touched but I'm not an expert. I won't be purchasing or brining any jewelry back there.

Knowing their expertise and reputation, I went straight to Gem Gallerie Goldsmiths to design my once-in-a-lifetime mother's ring. Karen and Anna took a personal interest in every detail and this beautiful ring surpasses my fondest expectations. I can hardly stop looking at it sparkle - yet it is so perfectly suited to me that it seems I have worn it forever! Thank you, Gem Gallerie!
