Garden Gangsters

Overnight oats, avocado toast and quinoa salad with steak very much recommended. I would give them 5 stars but they were way too pricey.

I got a Mayan Crunch Bowl with no protein, though a few strips of portobello mushroom and 1/4 avocado added. It was over $30 and the flavour was bland. The Texan bowl at Impact is half the price with better ingredients. This is basically salad mix with a few tiny extras. Wayyyy too expensive. Check out the pic. My second time ordering. With a smoothie, the salad came to $50. I appreciate the healthier ingredients but for what you get,not worth the money. I was desperate.

Delicious salad boxes. You can't really go wrong with quinoa and other salad ingredients, and a good dressing. The only thing I didn't like was the price. Just way too expensive for my salad with chicken added. However, this place beats Freshii in every way.

The best vegan restaurant here in the downtown core!!! Very healthy and very delicious vegan food!! The decor is awesome and the prices are very fair!!!!

I ate here for the first time last week. There was a promotion being offered on Ritual, and I wanted to try something difference. Since then, I’ve ordered lunch 6 times, and dinner 4. Everything on the menu is utterly delicious. From the bowls, to the juice to the cookies. Man those fresh baked cookies are delicious. I’m a huge fan of the tempeh, and they cook it perfectly. Not too hot, not too cold. My current favourite combo is the Market Stash with Tempeh and a Cookie. The staff are also really nice, the service is always quick, and I am 100% satisfied every time. By using the Ritual app you can also earn points to use towards discounts, which makes the price tag a little easier to swallow. Would it be less expensive if you bought all the ingredients yourself, of course, but who has time for that?

Great spot for healthy, fresh made bowls and salads, complimented by a variety of dressings/toppings made in-house. HOWEVER, be aware at how expensive this spot is...think $11-$13 dollars for a bowl base PLUS $3-$5 to add protein. I suppose high prices go hand in hand with St. Lawrence Market territory. I would give a higher score and visit more often if the prices weren't so high.

This is a must try spot. Evolution offers quality, tasty & FRESH grab & go style meals and snacks. Food isn't the only draw for this tasty destination their freshly pressed juices are the best in the city! If your looking for a healthy, filling green juice or something a little sweeter they've got your fix! Would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality, fresh & healthy food & drink. 10/10. Another fantastic feature of Evolution is that its located on the beautiful & historic Market Street right beside St. Lawrence Market!

Pricey for an average salad bowl...added protein and it was easily over $20

You can get a healthy box full of fresh ingredients and free range chicken at IQ Foods for $10.70 before tax. Locally sourced never frozen. These gangsters are definitely criminals charging $18.50 + tax for the same thing. I'll drop 3 stars here because this place used to be great and perhaps they have good intentions. This pricing is not sustainable for customers or the business. More people need to protest this type of price jacking when it comes to healthy foods. Fresh, healthy food does not need to cost this much. The Gangsters will try to tell you otherwise, but in the end the market dictates which business profit and which fail. I hope these guys rethink their business and get back on the right track. Until then...

Best salad I've ever had! I had the Market Street which had all the right combinations - warm and tender chicken, crunchy nuts, soft goat cheese, tangy cranberries, and sweet apples with a delicious dressing. Also loved the atmosphere.
