Had a brake controller installed here last year. It took 6 hours to install. The intern ran a non weather proof wire (12v constant) under the car. He installed non auto-reset fuses (auto-reset fuses are industry standard for safety). He broke a wire for my remote car starter and asked that I come back because he did have the correct wire to fix it. I fixed the wire myself, and in doing so I found he hadn't plugged the hole in the firewall, he blocked the leg air vent with all the wiring and didn't cut off any of his zip-ties. My fault though. For a few bucks more I should have went to a real "hitch" place where they do this kind of work daily.
