Picked this place based on other google reviews. It was your old school diner. The husband and wife owner operators were super nice. The food was quick and good. Prices are good. Parking is limited. I would certainly go back.
Just had dinner there last night! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There were 6 of use. We enjoy all our entrees. Will not hesitate to go back. If you are in Downtown Syracuse well worth the stop. Not fancy it's a good diner.

A genuine diner that stands out. The proprietor, Joe, was very accommodating, knows the area very well, and was a joy to talk with. Our waitress saw that a member of our party had some difficulty, and attended to us extremely graciously, even to the extent of opening the front door while we were coming up the steps. The BLT and turkey club sandwiches were excellent, and the portion of the root beer very large.
This was the most vile dining experience of my life, it blows my mind there are so many reviews stating this place is clean...they all seem to mention the wonderful owner, seems suspect. Well I did not meet the owner, just a coked out waitress who didn't seem to know what was going on. I was equally confused. How could such a disgusting establishment still be in business? Everything you touch is grimy, the food was inedible, and I needed to shower and change my clothes once I got home from the stench that seeped in from being inside the place for ten minutes.
The owner is always there and very friendly. The service is fast and I usually go there on Friday's for the fish fry. You get a good size piece of fish with fries for $7.00 how can you beat that!
Came in just walking off the street on a Wednesday afternoon. Attentive, friendly owner. Really tasty food with enough to satisfy had the colorful frittata and a tuna sandwich. Solid prices. Subjectively, it felt like I was home here having lunch. If only I lived here, would -definitely- be coming back again.
We found this diner on our way to the Erie Canal Museum. Its classic diner architecture stood out against the backdrop of multi story industrial style buildings a cheerful and nostalgic beacon offering good food and friendly service. If you're looking for warmth, nostalgia and good food drop in and be charmed and delighted.
The food was okay and priced fairly. It's got that distinct and unmistakable diner vibe to it, from the furnishings to the exterior of the place. The elderly couple who runs this place was such a lovely and welcoming pair who treats everyone who walks in like family.
Awful diner! My table was sticky and the actual menu and catsup bottle were sticky and grimy to the touch!! Ugh!! Everything is old and dusty. Scambled egfs were a gray color and the blueberries in my pancakes tasted like dish soap-how is that possible!!??? The food was horrible! Would not recommend!
As soon as I walked in, I could tell the waitress was on drugs. She was straight up tweaking, could not stand still the whole time, literally almost threw my food onto the table. Now to the food. It was swimming in grease. Had I not been hungover and hungry I would've got up and left. Disgusting place.
