Gallatin Riverhouse Grill

Riverhouse BBQ was a pleasure to visit. We were greeted with a pleasant face and with someone ready to help. We sat out in their beautiful outdoor area next to a nice river and great views. Once we sat down, the service was prompt with a Texas feel. For the current times this is a hard accomplishment, and it was done with ease. The food was pretty good. I ordered the meat sampler for 2 and shared it with me friend. My favorite dish was the pulled pork it is a must-try. I like the "new" Texas style BBQ sauce. The Margarita was one one of the best I have ever had. I will be back to try more of this amazing menu.

Texas style BBQ. Food was very good. Our waitress was awesome and other staff went out of their way to ask us about our experience. They took pride in their craft and was genuinely vested to make sure our meal was good. Place is clean with a casual laid back atmosphere. Wish we would have been there on a warmer evening. The outdoor seating looked awesome. Parking: Plenty of parking onsite. Just a little out of town.

Very spacious rustic restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. This place is known for their fried chicken and it was good. Usually fried chicken breast are tough and dry but it was moist and tender with a delicious taste. Our waitress recommended the meal for 4 for our party of 6 adults and we had plenty left to take home. The jalapeños margaritas the Riverhouse was amazing and mild in spice. The cornbread is moist and delicious as well.

Great service. Nice warm environment. Very well-priced food and drink. It’s a great place for large groups and has a nice laid back vibe. There are local beers on tap. I would recommend skipping the barbecue but would definitely return to try other things.

Food was pretty good, but not the best BBQ. All to say, the atmosphere was perfect and our waitress was really nice. We really enjoyed our dinner here. I would come back!

This is about as close to Texas BBQ this far North. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the drinks kept our whistles whet. We did the sampler plate for two and didn't come close to finishing it. If what I've said thus far doesn't sell you on the Riverhouse, then stop by for the view. I will definitely be back. Parking: Plenty of parking between the front lot and the back down the hill.

Riverhouse BBQ is a must stop if you are in the area. The staff was great, responsive and courteous. The BBQ was fantastic. We ordered the family platter for 4 plus ribs. It did not disappoint. We all agreed it was some of the best BBQ we have ever had. For an appetizer we had thier dry rubbed wings traditional style. The Wings also were delicious! This place is awesome stop by with an empty stomach you will not be disappointed.

Was here with some friends and the majority of the food came out great! Sadly my pulled pork plate was dry and lacking any oil/juices, while my friend got the same and his was drenched in sweet delicious juices! So i give 4 stars sadly. The cheese curds were freaking amazing tho, so definitely get those if you like to eat them!! Oh, and they put little bits of jalapeno in the corn bread and corn, not a fan of that, because those burn my mouth too much.

Being a southern man for life, I entered with expectations of a BBQ restaurant very different from home. To my surprise, everything about them reminded me of home. Friendly, attentive, atmosphere, hospitality, decor, patrons, and the food. The food is excellent southern flavor. All of those traits are intentional; the owner is from Texas. The view is of the Gallatin River with meadows and mountains in the background. It's very convenient to the Big Sky area. Fond memories of the place.

The best BBQ outside of Texas that I've ever had! Not sure, but might be because the owners are from Texas---the restaurant has Texas paraphernalia on the walls. They have, hands down, the best dry rub for the wing appetizers--- better than anything I've tasted in Texas. According to our waitress, they sell it, but unfortunately, they were out of it--- the only disappointment I had. Even the french fries were some of the best ever. We sampled ALL of the meats and not one disappointed--- all were smoked to perfection, tender, juicy, and delicious!! Everything was made better dining at a table out on the patio, facing the river and mountains. A fantastic dining experience--- start to finish!!! You won't be disappointed!
