I drive up here from Duncan every time I want to watch a movie. The chairs recline and have nice cushion on them. Great place for date night and I prefer this cinema over going to Victorias cinemas. The movie rooms seem clean bathrooms could use work but the staff are on it if you ask. Safe are nice and friendly just remember it is being run by teens so be nice to them.
Super comfy power recliner seats. It's a great theater. Good concession, arcade and vending machines. Takes a while to get in right now due to covid you have to show passports and I'd. So show up a bit early. Lots of parking. Clean like it should be. Make sure you become a scene member to take advantage of better deals.
This is the only theatre in Nanaimo worth going to due to the superior seats and real butter. Staff are always friendly and lineups move quickly. Enforcement of pandemic policies was awesome, I felt super comfortable attending this theatre. I do wish the movie selection was better, and that small children weren't allowed in rated-R films, they butcher the adult vibe.
Everything was great about this theater except the quality of the movie screen. There's something about it that seems lacking. The chairs are phenomenal, plenty of room and reclining is a great thing to have. Good snacks and quick kiosk processing for tickets.
Nice theatre, nice recliner seats. The only issue I had is that I went to see a movie one week prior in Theatre #4 and there were several pixel spots on the screen most noticeable when it was a dark background likely due to a problem with the projector. When I went to see another movie a week later again Theatre #4 the spots were still there. It would be great if this could get fixed, then it would be a 5 star review.
I love that the seats are much more comfortable then theater seats used to be, that didn't recline! But, I do wish that they reclined further back : - I also noticed that the screen isn't that big compared to some I've seen in the past! Overall, good experience though!
Workers are friendly and the whole building is kept pretty clean. The screens are a bit small but the recliner seats are comfortable.
Nice place to grab a movie. They have a really nice and comforting atmosphere. Their seats recline automatically which is a huge plus. Their seats are comfy and very high end. There are ample space for moving between seats and navigating. The cashiers were numerous which made waiting in line done in a jiffy. The food in the movies can be a bit pricey as of any movie venue. They also have an arcade with handfull of enjoyable games to play.
If you want to pay to not see a movie then this is the place!!! You will buy a ticket for your family to only be asked to leave because they over sold due to reservations. This has literally happened twice in a row and I feel bad for my son who's first experience hasn't happened because this keeps continuing..I suggest if you want to actually see a movie head over to Woodgrove!
