Since finding this campground a few years ago it has become our #1 vacation spot. We stayed there the first week of July as well as the first 2 weeks of August this year. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the owners and staff as well as campers (seasonal and weekenders). The owners have stopped by our site a few times just to say hi and see how we are enjoying our stay. Pride of ownership shows and the owners have been making improvements each year. The campground and beach are both very clean. We can't wait to go back next summer! We camp in travel trailer with kids (14&10) and our golden retriever. Jason and Nikki- Halifax, NS

What a beautiful place to be! We drive close to 2 hours every weekend to be here. This is paradise, this is where you can wind down, relax and meet great people. I read some of the reviews and i realized for some the expectations were not met. However, you have to make the best of it, everyone is capable to have a great time if they want too. This is a great campground, family oriented with kids activities and a beautiful beach. It is our own responsibility to be respectful to one and another and we will get the same in return. It is worth the detour this is our first year as seasonal and it isn't our last.... sit down, Relax and Enjoy!

Well I've been to Gagnon Beach several times over the last 5 or 6 years and never had a Problem, but that all changed when I went there on July Long weekend ( 2017 ).Went this time with 2 other family's, one family was my Brother from Ont. We arrived there mid-afternoon and went to the small office to check in, the young girl working there said she couldn't check us in and sent us to the House next door to get checked in. Well less than a Minute of starting to talk to the women there she started yelling at us to keep out of her space, cause she had a broken Arm, none of us were closer than 10 feet from her.so we make our way back over to the small office again, she's on the computer checking for our reservation and I start asking her a few questions, she gets all upset and tells me to stop asking questions because she can't be on the computer and listen to us at me at the same time. We finally got checked in and had no more Dealing with her the rest of the day ( Thank Goodness ). The next morning while I was coming back from the Bathroom, I was walking by the office. They were getting ready to open the office which has a small store in there also, a bunch of small kids were there waiting to go inside, and she starts yelling at them, I won't repeat on here what she said to the kids. I never in my 50 plus years meet someone who could be so Rude ,if didn't happen to me myself I wouldn't believe it. So I have no plans on ever returning there, and will be passing on my experience to everyone I know.

Another great summer at Gagnon Beach! The park is wonderful and serves up something special for everyone in the family. Kids enjoy the jumping pillow while teenagers gravitate towards the basketball court. Adults are sure to find peace at the adult only pool. Guests can appreciate the newly renovated washrooms and showers as well as a renovated laundromat... All cleaned daily for visitors to use. As always, the beach is kept clean. Unlike many other beaches in the area, dogs are permitted as long as they are on leash. New this year, spa services are offered by qualified professionals. Services can be booked ahead of time and really allow campers to relax and rejuvinate. Always a great way to spend a week... Or a whole summer!
