Very well maintained RV park Mostly seasonals Very clean bathrooms NICE pool Close to Shediac/Parlee beach Could do with a rec hall and more activities
We are travelling with another couple so being able to book two sites at a time can be challenging when busy season is here, but the staff taking reservations was awesome and accommodating when I called. She couldn’t get us side by side, but we were only about 4 sites apart. This is a large campground and appears very clean and has a definite “campground” feel rather than an “RV Park”. Seasonal sites are quite large compared to nightly sites, but even those are big enough. We use our own facilities, so no comment there. Lines of trees separated sites - some more than others. All roads are one way inside the campground. It was very quiet at night, and the quiet time was adhered to. A couple of negatives - there is only one garbage location, and it’s a long walk away. Anyone who has difficulty walking any distance would likely need to drive. Some sites are quite level, but some have huge ruts running the length of the site. Our site was dirt and rather uneven. Picnic tables are old and weathered. The sites all have campfire rings and the nightly sites get well used. This area is a bit narrower and it was very smoky so rather than open windows, we used the AC.
Entranced and enchanted by Camping Oceanic. Has the feel of a resort with a spirit of community. As a Florida grandma who travels with her trailer in Canada and the US, this is the perfect spot to host/visit with my grandkids and family who live in the area. What I love about this place are the attractive sites many with trees offering a delicious bit of privacy, its mix of seasonal and short-term visitors, the location close to everything, the care by the staff and owner in maintaining to such high standards everything connected to Oceanic, the pool, playground, activities and the list goes on. In short I'm thrilled. A one-month stay has extended to two months and perhaps more.
Great campground, private treed in lots that are nice and deep. The swimming pool is nice clean and new. The playground is great with a brand new play structure. The roads around the campground are paved which is nice for kids to use scooters and skateboards. The only downfall maybe is the wifi isn't great. However it is a really nice campground for a family vacation. We biked to the beach everyday which took around 15 minutes, and it's a 5 min drive to McDonald's for coffee in the morning. Great location and a really nice campground.
It was our first year seasonal camping over at this campground. The heated pool was a plus, as well as a laundry facilities and bathrooms are immaculately clean. I'm so grateful we parked our camper there . We absolutely love it
It’s obvious that the seasonal campers have free run of this campground. Our family was booked into a site between other seasonal, and the party trailer next to us was using our empty site as a washer toss site. They moved, but left their empty beer cans and bottles behind. This group partied loudly and with music until after 1:00am when the “quiet time” was 11:00pm. Security passed several times and did nothing to address the issue. They kept us awake and woke my son up several times. Campground showers were either missing shower heads or so disgusting that you would rather go without. We cut our stay short and left after one night, not wanting another sleepless night. The desk attendant told me she would speak to the manager about a refund. After several calls to their office and not being contacted back, I have still not received the refund. If you enjoy partying, and staying up all night, this is the place for you. If you want to get sleep at night I suggest camping anywhere else, even downtown Moncton.
Management difficult to deal with. I complain about someone smoking weed in the afternoon with kids running around management came up to my site later that day not to address my concern but to inform me of complaints on us that was from someone else's children Update we moved to another camp ground at the end of season. So we were suppose to get our deposit for hydro and swipe cards we were told refund would come by mail. We got our refund for hydro but not deposit for the cards so we had to reach to Debbie again which is one of the worst people I've ever dealt with which is the biggest problem with park. Now tells us that we are not getting our $40 we now have to pay cable which never worked for exactly $40. I would definitely not recommend this campground.
Very nice campground but they discriminate against certain dog breeds and single out pitbulls/rottweilers as dangerous breeds which isnt true its all in how there Brought up but they dont care and aren't even willing to meet these dogs to see how well behaved they are. Because of that i give 2 stars.
We just spent two nights at this campground with an 18 month old. Found the grounds to be nice but as we strolled through out there was very potent smell of septic. The okay park for kids is basically slides and a couple swings. Not very friendly for extremely young kids. No swings for them. Found the park in general to be quiet. Would not likely go back though.
Good looking camp ground ! But the personal is not very polite and don’t really know what a smile is! Lots of rules! No indications or maps or information so it’s really easy to do something they don’t approve and they have no patience. So if you arrived when it’s dark don’t be surprised to have a really inpatient knock on your door!!! I wouldn’t recommend this campground
