Furnberg Park

Small out of the way park that is perfect if you live in the neighborhood. There is a small play structure, two picnic benches which are available except during winter. It is well maintained and nearly always quiet. It is tucked away in a suburd so it is very safe.

No bathroom, nice, small park with play structure and a couple picnic tables. But..... and reason for low review score, have seen homeless people standing in the shrubs and drug deals going down in parking lot as we visit friends nearby frequently. Have seen a pack of coyotes roaming through and in nearby neighborhood, which have us concerned for friend's pets in area, one cat lost that we know of and another friend's small dog killed by raccoon that severed his spine with one bite. It's a wildlife natural habitat, and I guess coyotes and other creatures are encouraged to take up residence here.

They have been putting more into the green area which I liked when I was younger, and enjoy the new scenery because of it. Still a nice quiet park even being on the edge of property lines for half of it.

Our family loves this park. The area around the playground is smaller than some but still plenty of room for the number of kids we usually see here. And there is a very nice nature area that's big enough for exploring but small enough the kids won't get lost in it.

Furnberg Park offers a small, quiet and relaxing atmosphere with some pleasant nature that has spring up around the creek that runs through the park.
