Update! Frontier Western made a good point responding to my original post, so made an update. Updated review: Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Got a great straw cowboy hat. Went in mid-summer and their summer cowboy hat selection was a bit picked over from stampede earlier in the season i.e., folks looking for the white straw hats, etc, so if you want a full selection for summer stuff make sure to go before Calgary stampede. Just picked up my custom Greeley hat after working with Dusty to design it. I live in Calgary but it’s well worth the drive. I got my last felt hat from a well known place in Calgary but the custom fit process was way more in depth at Frontier. Coming from someone who has a hard time finding a hat that fits, I highly recommend going to visit the people at Frontier, and not just for hats but also tack and everything else western related.

I have been shopping at Frontier for years now. I have never used their online site but i hear its just as good. Im generally buying boots here or clothes for my son. Always great quality with plenty of selection to choose from. The staff is always very willing to help. Would recommend for anyone looking for quality merchandise.
Shopped here on May 26, 2018. Service was excellent! Three staff members I dealt with were all friendly and helpful with helping me find what I was looking for. Extensive selection of a wide range of products, from tack to clothing. I would recommend Frontier highly!
On or about noon on Sunday, December 29th, we my wife-Tiffany had the absolute pleasure meeting a gal, embarrassingly, she shared her name and we I omitted to take note . She was in her 20’s we think. Later to cash out on our purchases we also chatted with Donna and this wonderful gal. I left her my cell number as my wife and I were very interested in purchasing a buffalo skull when they become available. The gal we spoke with was very enlightening, informative, personable and just a delight to chat with. Please convey our thanks and the pleasure meeting her & Donna and also comment that your store was a magnet to our wallet. Will we return? We reckin’ so Anthony & Tiffany
Extremely rude, we walked in and they wouldn’t stop staring at us. We wanted to buy something for my horse but will never be returning as they were extremely unwelcoming. Their prices are awful as well! Hope this place shuts down soon.
Great store for western wear...a bit pricey though.
A lot of square footage but lots of room to walk around. Good selection of western saddles and tack. Poor selection of grooming & health products. Adequate selection of clothing. Some household items, jewelry & kids stuff. High prices.
