Very small diner with incredibly good breakfasts and sandwiches. You may have to wait to get a table but it is worth it. Like stepping back to the 1950s, there is a counter with stools and a row of tables that seat 2 to 4 people. You can watch the food being prepared as the grill is directly behind the counter. It is worth the watch to see the synchronized motions of the workers and the cooks complete their tasks in a minimum of space. It almost seems choreographed, but it is years of working together. Food's great and staff is friendly but usually much to busy too talk!

Small place, but cozy. Excellent condition. Very clean. Great food, incredibly well liked by locals. Food is well worth the price, and the price is cheap to moderate.

Food was ok, waitresses need to pay attention to the customers better. Myself and another gentleman had to wait too long for more coffee. The other gentleman actually took action by going behind counter to get the coffee himself.

Frieda's Cafe, is small and it used to be considered the old peoples hung out place but the college kids found out about it and now they have made it their place as well. Why, because Frieda's Cafe has great food at the most unbelievable low prices. Frieda's is a little place almost invisible you might say. For it's narrow and long. It's first come first service kind of place because it is pack most times. You can't blame the locals, Good food, great prices and a relax, take your time no rush and enjoy your friends conversation. A throw back to the good old days.

Frieda's cafe has limited seating, so I suggest getting their early. Their food is delicious, always hot and fresh, all with great service. I've never left Frieda's unsatisfied.
